Improved Nightfall rewards? F****g bulls**t Bungie!
290 armor pieces, 295 ghost shells, 18 strange coins and a whole heap of -blam!- YOU for your efforts. There is absolutely no need for this BS Bungie, like seriously...Why? Thoughts everyone, what are your experiences because from what I've heard around is that these rewards are pretty god damn common, way more common than they should be. Hell, they shouldn't even be in the loot table but whatever that's my rant done. Now let's actually hear your thoughts.

I was on my 319 Titan got a 295 chest piece on my 316 hunter got 293 cloak and last but not least 317 warlock 296 answering cord with blam-ing hipfire what a joke

Nightfalls suck. Never do them anymore, not enough pay out for the work.

They are only worth doing for the strike exclusive gear I look at the actual nightfall reward as just a little bonus, but I agree the drops are bullshit

I got: 307 vanguard ghost 300 the Villany (good roll too) 20 strange coin. Imago loop with outlaw and hidden hand Not bad for helping a buddy farm for imago loop

What do you mean I received 300 boots and a horn kit. Gave up on the third and just cried.

The need to increase the difficulty, make rewards substantial again. Raid tier is fine even if it's just the chance of exotics dropping at 320 an deach strike needs strike specific loot with a much increased drop rate during nightfall coming in around 300 - 310 light.

I'd do the nightfalls if they gave out emotes more often. Don't need anything else.

The rewards, substantial. A cool blue flaming head was proof you'd been though it. I got my first ghorn from a nightfall - I was ecstatic.... (the only way to possibly get some exotics now is using the wretched 3 of coins - which sux). [b] There is no excitement to the nightfall anymore,[/b] Its just a strike with harder modifiers, and [u]very[/u] meager rewards. Its pretty sad. Nightfall used to be a PVE player's weekly pilgrimage. Its just another way PVE got nerfed in Y2.

1 ReplyI'd like to see the numbers on the % of NF's completed now, vs. year 1.... I will randomly do one a month now, maybe. Where I used to grind all 3 out as fast as possible before. They said they didn't want us to feel we had to do the nightfall first before we did any bounties or other activities due to the exp buff. Well, we decided to do them first for the buff. We never felt forced to do them right away Tuesday, we had the option to. They cater to casual players who found it too difficult...When they should have just given those who tried, but couldn't complete it, a participation ghost for being mediocre at best. Because everyone is special, and therefore no one is....

Week after week it is the same. 290something ghosts. 300 fusion rifles. it BS. all my characters are 318 and up so anything under 310 in a nightfall is useless. I do not really have room to complain, because I usually get the exotic drops while the rest of my fire team gets the shaft. but it's maddening to hear " we have fixed the nightfall drops, when they are actually much worse than before. plus, what happened to getting the 8 strange coins for the heroic nightfall? should really bring that back. RANT OVER!

I'm pissed. I got 2 ghosts and a 310 HoPF. I was hoping for a 3rd ghost because I need one for a vex glimmer boost. One the bright side I got a cabal one and dismantled the HoPF for a shard.
