Y2 has no standout players, idk if people are improving or it's just the awful meta not allowing skill to shine through. Having played against most relevant Xbox players in Y1, there were definitely standouts. Playing against the OG God Squad in early/mid Y1 was scary because they were so much better than everybody else, in particular Poshy. Nowadays everybody's just the same :/

You realize no matter what, it will always be a popularity contest. And that's okay, because people are going to vote for who they think is the best player, of who they have the most knowledge about. You can't determine who the best player is in this game. Too many variables and factors to try and even decide. I don't think I could say one player is the best because how would I even decide. This game doesn't have tourney's, or any sort of way to measure who is the best. If it was like COD and let's say team Poshy, Gabe, War were on a team. They were just winning every single official tournament (assuming this game has customs, because let's be real). Then you could probably pick who is the best player based off that team. I would say as of now a lot of players can be considered the best, but to try and pick one, it can't be done. These threads are simply just who people watch, or enjoy watching.

I feel this is true. While these guys listed above are in fact good players of Destiny, you could be the best player in the world, but there is someone out there that will be better.

12 RepliesDr lupo if I have to say someone. I honestly feel that true skill can not be judged in a game this broken. Having to use meta just to play and nerf or buff everything. Means that true skill can't be judged. Just what I think. No bungievision fan boys sending salt please. Won't read any of them and really don't care.
