Balls. 95% of pvp players aren't elite. Like me. For various reasons we get our asses handed to us almost every game. What I'm hearing in this video is that the 5% don't want to be matched with other 5 percents because they can't continue to dominate the 95%. Balls. What's ruining Destiny isn't the changes, its the vocal minority that can't handle the changes. The guy in the video is clearly a great player. It's also clear from his statements when matched to players of similar skills it's difficult for him. Baby balls. Tiny little baby balls.

He's probably one of those top 1% percent of crucible players. I see a lot of people talking about the top tier/top 1% and how SBMM is horrible for them. Let's look at this from a business standpoint, do you focus on the 1% of customers whining because they are having a bad time or do you focus on the majority of your customers, oh idk like the other 99% of them. Triplewreck is only one person who is entitled to his opinion. However so am I, and I've had no problem finding games, and little to no problem with lag (except for the other night when I played against truevanguard) Before you bash me saying I'm a scrub and that's why I like SBMM just know that I could care less what system is in place as long as I get to play the game and have fun! Also last time I checked I was top 3% Combat rating on DTR, top 5 and top 10 in a few other categories.

Sbmm imo tells you how good you really are. I dropped from a 2.1 kd to a 1.9 since they implemented it. People literally dont like getting smacked. In the months of me adjusting to this new matchmaking, its safe to say im better than i was before. I use my shotgun way less(but i can still -blam!- you up with one if you try to rush me), i picked up on sniping, picked up handcannons and auto rifles which are honestly beast (message to people who bandwagon the metas, try new shit and dont be basic.) and lets be honest, if bungie let people know they changed to sb, then the data wouldnt be accurate. There will always be a scrub who will try to get their way around it and tell people about it.

When you're in a high tier Crucible rank, hold onto your seat because it is going to get laggy. I'm a top 1 percent US player. Have been playing Crucible since the Alpha, here lately I am matched with Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, etc. The game finds these to be suitable matches. My DTR rank is average, I run an average 1.87 K/D which actually has gone down. I do boast above 90K in kills; however, I have DTR'd my small games lately and I see these other countries almost every game I play. The lag is god awful but those players are DTR 35-50 MOSTLY 50. I think they have seriously broken the entire point of the PvP setup. Why are we being stretched so far out for crucible matches? US is a big ass place and I am to believe that I have to be stuck playing these whacked out lagged out matches in other countries? This is the worst I have ever seen the crucible. They need to redirect their game traffic. I enjoy a good tough neck and neck match that pushes you to play harder, but hell what is the point when you shoot at a guy that is walking into the wall for the whole game to have him headshot you through the wall you saw him walk through? Ever try to headshot a laggy ShadeStepper?? OMG WTF! That doesn't test my skill, that just tests my patience and I don't have too much patience left.

All I'm hearing is: 1. An "elite" player who is talking as if the problems that SBMM present for HIM...are present for everyone. They aren't. 2. An elite player who is completely out of touch with what its like to be a new or low-skill player in a competitive shooter. Where you're just getting stomped all-day, every-day....and things are happening too fast to people to learn from their deaths. 3. I hear a guy who is making a self-interested argument...and trying to pass it off as a principled argument. a. Triplewreck is a streamer. He looks better and is more marketable when he's throwing up KDs of 3, 4 and 5 against lesser players, than sweating it out against players of a similar skill level. b. SBMM makes it VERY difficult to do any sorts of "carries" or Sherpa-duty. So the matchmaking cuts into his business opportunities. 4. Lastly. I hear someone whom we used to call in my sports days....a chicken-shit. Someone who is a skilled player...but one who doesn't have much of a stomach for competition. He loves the game when he can skate by and when things are easy. But throw a fast ball under his chin.....or set across the line of scrimmage and smack in the mouth.... ...and all of sudden his knees go wobbly, and he's looking to for the "Eject" handle to punch out. True competitors. The TRUE elite at what they do, are never afraid or frustrated by competition. THEY SEE IT AS THEIR REWARD FOR THE HARD WORK THEY'VE PUT IN TO GET TO THE TOP OF WHAT THEY DO. They don't ask for someone to "make it go away". They ask "Can I have some more???" They say...."Bring it, b!tch." 5. I hear someone whining like a child and assuming that just because he got inaccurate information that someone was trying to deceive him. Large organizations have communication breakdowns all the time. One hand not knowing what the other is doing....and in a day where everyone has a Facebook page and a Twitter account, its hard to keep people who don't know from speaking out of turn. 6. I hear someone trying to speak for me ("Anyone who's played Destiny for a long time....") who not only doesn't speak for me, he doesn't have a -blam!-ING CLUE what my situation is, or how I feel. I will be looking to play other games, simply because things are quiet on the Destiny front...and that quiet gives me an opportunity to do other things that I couldn't when Destiny was eating up all my gaming time. I won't be doing it because "Destiny is dead" or to punish Bungie. 7. Yes. You dont' owe absolute loyalty to one game. BUT YOU ALSO DON'T OWE LOYALTY TO SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY DO SOMETHING YOU LIKE. Especially when they are really speaking in terms of their own interests...and are trying to claim that they speak for you. Yet know nothing about you as an individual. That is USUALLY someone who is trying to get what they want...and trying to rationalize what is really a selfish act. In short. TW doesn't care what's in the best interest of Destiny or you as an average Crucible player. Bungie is -blam!-ing with his livelihood as a streamer of the game...and he's pissed.

Just watched it and lost all respect for him. Basically he's saying I don't want to have to try hard. When I play I have to try hard in order not to have a 0.5 kd. What's wrong with the top players playing each other instead of pub stomping other less experienced players? I will agree that latency should be more important than it is presently but skill should be higher than latency

It's pretty bad when one of your go to "yesmen" for live streams and reveals starts saying things aren't looking good.
