2 RepliesHonestly, I've bought tickets, but I'm actually terrified by the thought of winning. Most people who win the lottery have their lives ruined, which is a huge bummer. No matter how smart you (think you) are, most people aren't equipped to handle that kind of money. That being said, I'd like to think I'd do the obvious stuff. Pay off debt, have a significantly fancier wedding than the one we're planning, take care of my extended family, buy a farm and set up an animal rescue on it (that's for the fiancé), probably open a live music venue (that's for me), hire a financial advisor, invest in clean/renewable energy, buy some vintage guitars/amps, arrange some national tours for the band I'm in. Stuff like that.
