Probably are the ones that don't play the goddamn objective in control. Seriously. This is why clash is better. Half the morons on my team don't capture a -blam!-ing zone. It's called CONTROL. CONTROL THE -blam!-ING ZONES PLEASE!!
End rant. For now

Edited by Devasstator: 12/30/2015 6:54:20 AMThat could be easily solved if Bungie actually made the control points matter. I personally am an objective player and only enjoy the control that kills don't matter. If you could only win by capturing and holding the points, you would see people actually playing the objective! Well, most people, some are still too worried about stats. The entire game mode of control is stupidly designed. Not a COD fanboy, but domination is one of the most popular modes and I see a lot more people playing objective due to how the game mode is designed.

5 Repliesclash is boring....end non rant....

Honestly I'm doing what I did last time. I've already finished the weekly a and in just waiting until the weekend to turn them in. Insta 5 with minimal effort.

2 RepliesEdited by DarkNoha: 12/30/2015 6:14:57 AMThis is exactly the reason why I hate control for IB. The problem is if you are against a fireteam of 6 then they capture 2 zones and then you and your team of randoms just end up feeding their kills as you go to capture zone. Some of the popular players of this game complained about IB when it was clash saying that it was a camp fest and the game was slow now that is hypocrisy because you want to play passive but can't because the other team is doing the same thing. You basically want the other team to feed you kills rather than you pushing them to get kills. When IB was clash I was able to carry my team of randoms against a full fireteam of 6 that is something no one can say in control. That was the reason we won since the only 'Objective' was kill to win. Control is also a camp fest. a team captures 2 zones and have snipers camp the areas to those zones so that they can kill any one who goes out to get those zones. People say IB is a team mode. No it is not a team only mode. Team is optional not a requirement. Clash is something that gives players who go with a fireteam or solo the same chance at winning while in control its mostly the team which has at least a 3+ fireteam. Also most imp when IB was clash how many games got mercy ruled compared to when IB is control? Very very less. Now that is fair game. You need to see which mode has the less chance of getting mercy ruled matches. IB control has a lot of matches that gets mercy ruled.

4 RepliesMaybe it's control because of the PvP meta problems that are circulating. But you're right, People don't like to play control. Maybe they didn't get the Memo it wasn't clash. Or, maybe people are lazy. But I tell you what; after I saw the gear from IB was 280, I'm treating IB as though it's the plague. Between the double rng problems, pretty much "cookie-cutter" loadouts, and most of the recent changes to the game purely based on PvP performances only, IB isn't gonna be as fun as it was Y1. Rip Y1 Destiny.

Prefer clash

find you a party smart guy.

They both have their weaknesses, In clash, your team can get a lead in points then all camp in some room like that area in blackshield and just hardscope every hallway without a punishment. In control you can't do that because the opponents can double/triple cap and have he advantage.

2 RepliesEdited by B1oody Bill: 12/30/2015 5:19:38 AMThey should have used the game mode "Zone Control" that way the players have to capture and hold the zones.
-
As someone who almost exclusively PvPs solo I much preferred Clash because I was better able to help/carry bad players. With Control, I am the one who ends up sitting on nodes while terrible players just run around, get killed and hand out super energy to the other team like candy. Yes, Clash is very camp-with-a-sniper-heavy but Control is very quickly turning into that anyways.
-
Clash is super campy and snippy probably less popular too.
-
2 RepliesPeople who don't play the objective are the slayers. I should have 2 slayers, 1 person roaming around, and 3 clappers not everybody needs to cap flags.
-
Control is -blam!-ing horrible
-
I complained about clash I hate clash. And my bubble has captured many a zone in every iron banner since the first one.
-
3 RepliesClash was a sniper campfest. Control ftw.
-
2 RepliesYea At least you could carry a team in Clash. When I say you, I mean any one of you, not me, Mr. Negative K.D.
that rhymed
Pssst, like realkrafty ;) lmao. It's the guy the says "ew, gross" redundantly.

Dude, I hear ya. Clash is my fav. Trials is awesome and I pretty much only play this game for crucible any more. I'm all for iron banner but it definitely brings all those pve players into the slaughter house for us but on the flip side, having a team of people that don't play the objective is flipping frustrating.

2 RepliesEdited by dougisjericho: 12/30/2015 4:42:14 AMI dunno. I sure enjoy dumping a nova bomb into a team capping a zone.....
-
3 RepliesEdited by WhitEWatchEs: 12/30/2015 1:49:10 AMDoes everyone just snipe from spawn? Haven't played IB yet, was curious how the new meta would work with it. Imagine clash IB with this sniper nonsense going on.

1 ReplyPlay the objective! Here here good sir!!!
-
4 RepliesI've been seeing my KD suffer a lot in control than in clash. When there's an objective to play I can't sit back and play it safe. I push it in either to cap or to prevent the other team from capping. I would run in there expecting my team to at least back me up, but then when I run into 3+ people and die, I can see them all hiding safely in the back letting the other team cap. That aggravates me to no end.
-
clash is awesome but the only issue I have with clash in iron banner is it turns into a sniper camping game.
-
I know!!! It so stupid

2 RepliesRift is the only balanced solo playlist outside rumble. Consistent spawns are needed to have a balanced shooter.

LFG go in with a team...communicate :)
