How do you counter MIDA in crucible?
Seeing the gun everywhere and I can't seem to counter it. Anyone know of any primaries that can compete to help?
Do NOT tell me to 'git good', no one likes trolls
And do NOT tell me to just use MIDA. Thats not a counter.

By using guns that has the same range and impact, or better.

Last Extremity and Omolon scouts as a whole hit pretty hard at range, they don't fire quite as fast so keep your feet moving. Otherwise, the rule of thumb is to get in close enough to use one of the autos people have suggested (Doctrine of passing being a good example) or TLW to overwhelm your opponent with fire rate. MIDA's a good gun, but on a smaller map where separation can be hard to come by there are guns that can blast through it.

Doctrine of passing works great. I also use bad juju, reflection sum, red death, thorn ;), hung jury, thread upon stars, deadshot luna, any sniper fusion rifle or shotgun, supers & heavies, really anything tho

Edited by High Charity: 12/26/2015 12:19:58 AMUse Not Like the Others. It has a faster ttk to the body than Mida. Its only .1 seconds longer to the head too. Inward Lamp and DIS-47 are .03 seconds longer with criticals, and .1 seconds quicker with body shots. You can get a 47 with Full Auto too. Last Extremity is .1 seconds quicker to kill with critical than Mida, and .1 seconds slower with body shots. Its really not hard.

If you want to fight it in its intended range you have to be better than them period. You best bet is using a close range primary and avoiding long sight lines. Map positioning and awareness is always the most important thing at beating a type of weapon. Be creative in how you move around the map is my best suggestion.

Edited by シOblivionシ: 12/26/2015 12:07:46 AMI use Mida all the time. I die a lot to autos mid range and up close I swap out to a side arm to combat shotguns and side arms. That should tell you. Mida is only good T long range. It's my sniper and scout all in one. Very long range Ouse it slowly and pop heads. Mid range I staff and shoot fast. Close range I am ducked if I use Mida.

It's honestly not that hard. Mida isn't even that good, you just see it alot so you assume your getting destroyed by it

I only use chaperone and it murders those little mida losers.

5 RepliesMonte Carlo w/high caliber rounds. Or any primary with high caliber rounds. I've never had a problem taking care of someone else who is using mida. Just stay in your weapons range and out of theirs

Try strafing and using a good auto with Unflinching so you can make them flinch a lot. Also High Caliber Rounds should help. Hope this helped! :D
