Would my opinion count?
I say low kd = opinion valid

1 ReplyI think it's more about the medal score then k/d at least that tells if you play a lot of Pvp.
-
Edited by Blackk_XS: 11/26/2015 8:23:47 PMOdd, I usually think of it the other way around. Who gives a flying shard what PvPers think? Their whining has lead to more damage to this games core than anything else.
-
considering 65% of players have a K/D below 1.08, that would be a lot of invalidated opinions.
-
The sweaty nerds just say that because they know you're right and they need to find an argument
-
Yeah. People who use stats to counter arguments are just pathetic losers who only have stats to prove their skill.
-
I don't think your opinion is invalid but I would definitely take it with a a grain of salt.

KD doesn't mean anything anymore. Too many people, like myself, enjoy using a variety of weapons. Most of which don't effectively compete with the current meta. The majority of my time spent in the crucible is to test out a new roll i got on some random weapon. Unless it's trials or IB, then i'll scrub it up with the rest of the try hards.

3 RepliesEdited by ConnorCT10: 11/26/2015 3:23:14 PMEveryone has an opinion except sunbreakers :)
-
Opinions are always valid. That being said if you have a 0.5 kd and post threads saying "Snipers are so easy to use with Aim Assist" I won't give it much credibility. Similar to how if someone posts saying "Titans are OP", yet they have 3 Warlocks / Hunters.

3 RepliesSometimes my K/D is good, sometimes not. Sometimes, a player is trying to complete an out of their wheelhouse bounty or playing a support role for the team by denying heavy weapon ammo and such. It is only one metric. It is like judging Tom Brady having a bad game because his RB rushes for 20 yards a carry. The team wins but his stats suck. :)

11 RepliesIf (High KD == true) { Opinion = "valid"; } Else if (Low KD == true) { Opinion = "valid"; } If you didn't understand my coding there, I basically said that whether you have a high or a low KD, your opinion is still valid.

I have a low kd.. I dont care.. Im not out there trying to be cod champ mlg 420 noscope try hard. in a game that has broken pvp.. I have fun.. weather it being doing well in crucible or just trolling in crucible. Sad crucible has great potential if they would just fix it
-
My kd isn't great but that's cos I have gradually got better
-
Nah, I don't think KD really means anything. I love to mess around. Take CoD for example, I know it's not a super "skill" based game but neither is destiny. Anyway, I was on my other account(it got banned) and I had like a 0.9 KD cause I would run around with fist and a knife half the time. My friends cousin told his friend if he wanted to win matches that he shouldn't join us and shit and that were bad. My account was banned the next day so I was a try hard to level up on this new account. My KD is a around a 1.8. The point of this story is some people like to have fun and do silly little challenges/use bad weapons. If you want to see who's better, match up with them.
-
In pvp then maybe...it depends on what they are doing and what they are saying
-
Opinion on what? Lore? "Skill?" Game Design? Balancing? Aesthetics?
-
Invalid. Low kd means no map awareness, knowledge, gunskill.
-
Everybody has a valid opinion.
-
For pvp stances yes

1 ReplyReally shit b8 doesn't even get a r8

3 Repliesin my opinion you should not triple cap on Control. having 2 players around both capped points to defend and 2 mobile players putting pressure on the 3rd cap, but not capping it is an effective strategy.
my Control KD is .86, so I'm probably completely wrong.
You only have one character your argument is invalid I can say stupid things too No seriously you need to fuck off
-
Only rich people should be able to vote

1 ReplyAin't we all entitled to an opinion regardless of our stats?
-
I prefer medal score over kd because those with high medal scores actually play a lot of crucible. Even if their kd is low, they play enough to know about maps, skills, different tactics and builds. Because if someone is bad in pvp I don't think they'll stay in there for long. At least if they're trying to get better, they will through practice.
