PvP is killing Destiny
The worst part of this game is PvP. Bungie stop catering to that side of the game. PvE is the bigger player base. Trials was fail and the bitching and crying about OP weapons and supers will never stop. You have fu.cked your own game two years in a row with the "balance" patches.
The worst part of the decisions the devs had made is how it has being driving players out of the game. Dont get me wrong I love Destiny and the whole lore behind it. Yes im one of those who read the grimoir cards and watch youtube videos about it to inmerse my self in that universe because is fun and mysterious.
Please Bungie stop driving us away by catering to the PvP minority. Find a way to separate the two sides and stop messing the weapons. Bring back the elemental primaries or a least a way to infuse the weapons with elemental damage.
Sorry for the grammar mistakes. Bungie you have done a lot of things right but Destiny is a long way from being the game it should.

Just to add the only thing that held destiny up in vanilla was the pvp.. Honestly no offence but if you can just sit there playing destiny's Pve that must be so boring ... At its worst pvp is laggy and annoying ... Weapons are at there best yess shotguns are still far to overpowered... But Fusions, scout rifles, auto rifle sort of, hand cannons have the right balance.. Pulse rifles would be great as they are but the range makes them overpowered more than scout rifles.. Finally alot of the people I see post have hardley any hours on pvp then go on it once and get owned then they put it down to weapons are to overpowered ... I have seen it since day 1 vanilla # its getting old now girls and boys

That's lies there many many things to get angry and rant about in the world of GRINDESTY Aka Destiny... But you do understand if you read the patch notes they will nerf handcannons in pvp and not in pve.. Look at the proof they nerfed scout rifles in PVP but left them in pvp... The weapons get normalised in Crucible.. If bungie are nerfing in both pvp and pve it will be in patch notes.. Or if you don't trust bungies words.. Just test the weapons yourself

5 RepliesThe sandbox that is pvp is what determines balance for pve. When hand cannons utterly destroyed in pvp everyone was using them in pve as well. Now the same is happening with pulses. Bungie wants weapons to be "seasonal" apparently.

I just found a new way to cheat. Something Bungie said and did recently got me thinking about decade back...so I looked through my old warez...and I dug out a gem that made folks at punkbuster rich as Frick. /whistles

All PvE armor and weapons and supers should be banned from PvP (only keep supers in the Mayhem playlist). That way PvE players won't have to suffer nerfs because of PvP whiners.

I like the pvp stuff. I just wish they would separate the weapons better. To May guns have been ruined cause of been bad arse I'm crucible and wrecking to much.....

Make a set for each and balance them seperately because they hve nothing to do with each other. Bungie is trying to balance everything in a giant pile which they obviously can not handle. And "seasonal" weapons are absolute bullcrap IMO. Its just another sign they are not able to bring 100% balance to this game.

2 RepliesI wouldn't say pvp is killing destiny. Although there is a ton of issues with weapon and super balancing, it's still fun and very popular. My main issue with it is the amount of nerfs that are sent out and how one specific weapon type becomes op across all game types. For example, I don't want to just use the current meta pulse/sniper/truth to stay competitive. Id like to use whatever the hell I want and still succeed in the crucible knowing that I'm not at any lower disadvantage than any other load out.

Next time you see a nerf post check the user stats. I will bet that they have many more hours in PvE than they do in PvP. PvP players or players that split time usually adapt and don't complain. It's really your PvE brethren calling for nerfs, because they step in and get destroyed. Bungie does most of the balance because of statistics anyway.

8 RepliesI love the "idea" to have no elemental primaries! Cause why? Remeber the last year with elemental primaries. You got fathebringer, VoC and other good elemental primaries. But all other interesting guns especial exotic primaries stands in the shadow of those 3-5 guns. There are no other choices. A elemental primary was better than a primary without a elemental damage. Thats the problem. The limitation of variation. The year two is sooooo much better without elementap primaries and also without this nobrainer gally. Keep this in mind.

Bump. Please separate them. Just make a damned copy of the code and call it PvPcode, then screw with it all you want. Then leave the PvEcode weapons alone, and concentrate on bugs. You could have them both in good shape before you know it, and maybe these forums can go back to happy and useful, instead of just bungie bashing.

But people do it and love it I don't expect destiny to neglect half of their community if they plan on keeping it.

4 RepliesDespite its massive problems, I have fun in the Crucible and Iron Banner. While I understand what you're saying, MGT, the blame - all of it - belongs to Bungie. They choose to cater to PvP whiners. I think of it this way: if a parent gives their kids candy every time they whine for it, the kids will end up fat and spoiled; the only lesson being learned is the longer I whine, the more likely I'll get candy.

12 RepliesUm minority? Lol your the minority sir. Raid is only thing in pve I do. Pvp all day, bet that other people feel the same. And no I dont like that they cater to crybabies there are things that need to be addressed but a complete rebalance would be stupid.
