I know we're all bitching about our favourite weapons but this is a more important issue. We in the UK are once again being blatantly ripped off, more that anywhere on the planet it would appear.
This issue won't disappear no matter how hard you try or stick your heads in the same. There are a lot of unhappy UK gamers and we for once won't just take is up the a$$. $40 does not equal £40!!!
Sort it out Bungie. We want answers as to why we are being ripped off.
PS. Admins, deleting posts about this doesn't make it go away either.
Edit: We're getting charged $22 more than the U.S. Don't stand for this outrage.
Edit: A massive thank you to all the trolls, you're keeping this post trending. For once you're being useful.

1 ReplyCouldn't agree more, especially as it was first put on the store at £28 then changed a few days later, I will not buy TTK at the current price and think every other UK player should boycott it until the price is fixed
-
1 ReplyI don't believe they will. This issue has been hotly debated, and all I've seen is a large group of the European guardians say they will leave because of this. Bungie thinks sticking their head in the sand will make it go away, but it seems like they are pretty adamant about keeping the price higher.

1 ReplyBump from this American infidel for my UK bros

Edited by BOBAKthePRODIGY: 8/8/2015 6:38:30 PMThey don't understand how currencies work... ..no really, they don't give 2 shits. Sorry, I feel you guys, the Aussies and Kiwis. Year One Players were treated as beta testers and foreign players, worse still.

1 ReplyIt has been, answered multiple times. You people just don't care.

1 ReplyJust pre-ordered it. I agree the price is extreme but i've wasted more money than this on shite in the past so what the heck! It will keep me entertained

6 RepliesSorry man... Bungie said they weren't going to change it

I paid £27 for mine so about $41........ -blam!- you Bungie and the hours and hours I have played this game for the shitty amount I actually paid in the first place. How do you guys sleep at night. :-)

2 RepliesTTK legendary edition (not the expansion dlc!) is currently available for preorder online for £34.85. Offer ends tomorrow (9th August) I think. Simplygames.com. No, I don't work for them, or have any connection with them other than seeing their website. Two reasons for posting: 1 it's a pretty good deal (the best I've seen do far); 2 it completely negates any argument about how UK pricing of the dlc is due to import tariffs etc. Activision set the RRP - obviously retailers can sell at a reduced profit if they wish. Currently the only place to buy the expansion dlc in the UK is on PS store... And they clearly want maximum profit.

1 ReplyJust to let everyone know you can get the disc copy of taken king on simplygames.com for £35

Buuuump

Bro don't even look at Australian prices! 2* as much as a minimum! Let alone then paying in usd! DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION SHOULD BE THE SAME COST EVERYWHERE! (+taxes)
-
Are you sure we won't take it up the ass? I suspect the sales figures might show otherwise.
-
This will likely not get sorted out. It really sucks for you guys, and if I were in the UK or Australian I probably wouldn't buy The Taken King until it went on sale. It's still crappy though. But this isn't Bungie's fault, so complaining here probably won't so any good, and your anger is misplaced. Activision, the publisher, sets prices for their games and DLC, and it is them you should be emailing, Tweeting, Facebooking and whatever else to get a response about this. I'm pretty sure hardly anybody at Activision is looking at the Destiny forums. Good luck, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Bump for fairness

For digital content the price disparity us bullshit. Even for a physical copy the price difference doesn't make a lot of sense.

15 RepliesI am so sick and tired of British people coming on this community and complaining about the price of TTK in the UK, and I'm British for goodness sake! Yes the pound is the strongest currency in thr world but you cannot use that as a reason for wanting to pay less. VAT is also more and I'm sure there are other taxes and regulations at play that stipulate that the game should cost you guys 40 pounds instead of the equivalent of 40 dollars. You ever stopped to think that it might be the game stores or playstation/Microsoft who are charging you the 40 pounds and not strictly bungie? It's not like you can go on bungie.com and buy the game for 40 dollars anywhere in the world. It sucks, sure; but you aren't going to change anything by coming on this community and trying to make the rest of us who don't have a problem feel sorry for you. You either like the game or you don't. Which in itself means you'll either pay to play or you'll quit and rid us of this once and for all.
