The endgame dilemma is about to be fixed
Shit needs to stop. I'm getting too much hate because you all are only taking bosses into account, and not crowd control, which the Gally sucks ass at. Let's all go our separate ways. I'm going to try to delete this. Call me a noob all you want, because it isn't going to change one simple thing.
You obviously suck if you depend on that thing. Meanwhile we who don't will go and be able to use every other exotic in the game, proving our skill, and laugh when its useless against the new bosses that aren't bullet sponges. The purpose was to address elitism, and I see it's an issue that will remain. I'm ignoring this so I can stop saying the same thing, not because I believe I lost.
Also if you shoot the HoC from above you'll see how I got those 30 kills.
Edit: Damn necro. Anyways, I got a Gally. Definitely still a crutch. Two rockets to the Winter Kell and a couple of Pulses. Definitely better for a single enemy. Still prefer my HOC for clearing adds.

HoC is not a more efficient than a Gally. Pure and simple its not, maybe in your little test range scenario where you set something up that should [b]never[/b] realistically happen in game it is, but not in a realistic common in game scenario. Also good luck consistently shooting at a charging group of 30 thralls with a rocket launcher in a legitimate in game situation in the abyss with darkness stacks and teammates without blowing yourself up. Give me Fatebringer/MIDA and Icebreaker with an LMG and I will easily destroy more thralls and keep them from [b]ever[/b] building to 30 during the lamp portion of the abyss. There is not a single PvE encounter in this entire game that will not be completed quicker, safer, and easier with a Gally equipped instead of HoC. So Gally is the more efficient/effective weapon choice and to think any other heavy is realistically more effective is just straight up delusional. It is not required to complete any PvE encounter but it is a crutch that will make them easier/quicker. The nerf is deserved and people only inviting pplayers if they have a Gally is dumb don't get me wrong, but that is no reason to start making ridiculous statements.

Crowd control has never been an issue with Fatebringer in the mix from the beginning. Also, Gally doesn't suck at crowd control, at least as far as rockets go, it's probably the best one.

1 ReplyI have 3 gjallarhorns and you are right, it needs a nerf. I think they are going to nerf it into the ground. I didn't get my first until after HOW drops, so I know the struggle to find fireteams without gjallarhorn. If your on ps4 I run skolas 3 times a week and would gladly take you on my fireteam. HoC more efficient than G-Horn? Pls gtfoh. The HoC is literally one of the most feces level rocket launchers in the game srs. The cluster bombs never hit shit and the tracking is whack in PVP. Although Gally isn't needed in any of those things you were talking about, it is stupid for you to say that HoC is anywhere near as efficient as a Gally. Sounds like jealousy to me. Even after the nerf the Jellyhorn will always reign superior.
