Weapon Tuning... Post your thoughts!
Personally this is something I have been waiting for and this should please a couple people. My Hardlight is now going to be more relevant and G-Horn should hopefully not be so needed in LFG.

This has been coming for months. Doesn't take effect for a while yet and if as suggested by bungie the taken king wants us to dump our old weapons for all the new ones available in TTK, who cares if they nurf them! Hopefully it works and makes the game better. I doubt though anyway. Guaranteed there will be a crutch gun that a random perk makes it amazing, then that will piss everyone off for months!

1 ReplyIt's not about weapon tuning they want to destroy the old weapons and force us to use new weapons and because we like to keep the old stuff stashed and they don't want to give us more vault space they make old stuff crap so we will delete it and see the problem of vault space fixes itself .

Edited by Oath 01: 7/17/2015 4:19:35 AMthe thorn adjustments definitely have me curious as to how thatll be in pvp a tad excited doe the extra rounds in the pulse rifles, even with the slight damage reduction and added kick (but i doubt those will be noticeable) the hand cannon nerfs have me worrying about my ill will tbh the necrochasm buff seems cool, may work on getting one now. wanted one anyways, for the novelty, but maybe now it'll have practical applications. the extra few seconds on icebreaker suck, but i dont use that gun anymore anyways, so i cant complain. the white nail perk taking from your stock is upsetting tbh, i hadnt jad the gun yet, n may not go for it now (not that i ever run raids anyways, too lazy n no dedicated team) the last word adjustments and the ads fix may make it feel less cheap when i use it... i hope. the gjally nerf is upsetting, i just got it recently... but i always pass it up for bad juju, so meh. the final round adjustment seems great, not getting 1-shotted by a bullet in my ass. i hope auto rifles make something of a comeback so i have an excuse to use suros again. and lastly, the shotguns. i tend to use shotguns alot (thanks gears of war), and despite what most say, i think it takes alotve dodging and/or luck to get kills with a shotgun... unless youre a dick and camping round corners lol i mean, running into B with the full enemy team standing there. takes some skill to get 2 or 3 of em, and get out alive when theyre all shooting last words and thorns at you. now, im not too shaken up about the perks, i only shoot for em since the others who share my opinions on shotguns use em, n id rather not be outranged when facing a guy in a long, narrow hallway. the reduction in pve seems decent too... actually, i think im fine with the shotty nerf. its not terrible. anyways l, these are my thoughts on it. none of you are gonna read all that though XD side not, the fusion rifle thing is a tad confusing... what were they going for there?

I don't like the gally and bh nerf. I like the auto rifle buff, nlb buff, and especially the grenades and horseshoes nerf. [spoiler]the worst thing is that this comes out in September [/spoiler]

Time will tell. I wish ice breaker and gally were left alone but i am glad to hear about Thorn and especially excited to hear about Necrochasm.
