It's time to help us make Destiny the great game it can be by letting us finally get to end game we paid for.
So many of us haven't done raids, nightfalls, PoE or ToO because there's not MM.
Those who say NO to matchmaking are those who have no need for it. You know from figures you made that theres 80% + that haven't had the chance to do any end game activities because you mysteriously don't want people to touch it without friends.
You promote LFG sites - they are the same people we'd be matchmade with!
Just put that feature on all activities, make it optional, no one loses.
Without this - everyone who hasn't got any friends do lose. And we all paid for the game. This game COULD be legendary.
Believe me, sitting in orbit after work waiting for LFG to work out and it doesn't it heartbreaking.
Try doing that for 8 months while you see so many do great. It's too much for someone to take and we are leaving the game.
If you get a bad mix, go back to orbit and roll again. It MUST be implemented.
Again, I know those who are fine with it the way it is, schoolkids, twitchers and those with friends, won't care and some will even try to stop it. But we NEED this and it won't hurt anyone since it's optional.
If you don't change it soon, then you'll have lost too many to save this game from being played ONLY by the small audience who aren't the 80%+ who've never raided.
And I know you're only going to add matchmaking to PoE 32, don't do that. Add it to everything.
It's so heartbreaking to love this game so much but know that you're not even considering giving access to those of us LFG sites don't work for.
The bad part is if you don't implement MM immediately, you're losing dedicated fans and players every day they log in, wait, fail and then just give up forever.

1 ReplyYou just dont understand the power of a good beard. With the right beard you could easily solo all activities.
-
2 RepliesAll signs of a dying game. When a beard takes precedent over maintaining integrity, something is VERY wrong.

6 RepliesEdited by iDovahBear: 6/11/2015 4:18:09 AMAs a player with enough friends to regularly do Raids, I don't see how this would be a negative influence on the Community at all. The only way it would come back to haunt Bungie is if the method(s) by which players are matched is botched. So in the end it'd take some time to carefully consider just exactly how people should be matched. But skill requirements are becoming less necessary as the Light level rises incrementally over the months. So unless the people demanding this be added turn on Bungie for making a bad matchmaking style, it could only work wonders for the community and Bungie as a whole.

3 RepliesWell obviously, matchmaking just lets thousands of solo players actually play the game they paid money for... But BEARDS, on the other hand, would revolutionize the game and carry us all as a unified fanbase into the next half-decade of Destiny. Without beards, the game is a shallow, pointless endeavor. Finally, something to get excited about!

I give up on Bungie responding to fan feedback.

Beards are wayyyyyyyyy more important.

1 ReplySocial aspect of destiny is a joke, you can't even talk to each other in the tower for crying out loud. Why must we add a middleman to a transaction that should be seamless

3 RepliesCan my exo have a beard?

60% of my PS4 friends who were dedicated Destiny players, moved on to other games after HoW release. The lack of MM in Elders and Osiris after months of not having it in Raids and Nightfall was a slap in the face for many.
-
I genuinely couldn't care less about matchmaking but I've been butthurt about lack of facial hair since day 1. Can anyone confirm we're finally scheduled to receive beards??? I have not seen this alleged prioritized list.
-
7 RepliesIf you haven't made friends in the 8-9 months this game has been out then the game isn't the problem

Beard == matchmaking

Your argument is invalid because beards.

If you had a beard you would understand.

Edited by Scrub Lords: 6/12/2015 3:44:39 PMSeriously how can you people not just make friends &/or join a clan? This game clearly requires social cooperation. Your matchmaking will enable you to carry 12 y/o squeakers that are likely less than half your player skill.

1 ReplyIm gonna quote bungie here "from the beginning we made destiny as a co-operative game" along with all the other false advertising this means that we should be able to play together, but if there isnt an optional matchmaking then how do we play with other people if we are not in a clan . MM FOR EVERYTHING SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED NOW!

You only have 4 raid completions. You have no idea how bad it would be
-
That list is laughable at best....
-
Beards are not any further than matchmaking.
-
Beards. That would be cool.
-
This would make trolling in match-made games 100x easier, if you have no friend why play xbox lel

This is what bungie wants, they give no f))$s.. There is no reason for there too not be opt mm, any player that contends it is a bad idea is pathetic and small minded. Its opt, meaning you don't have to use it you can still play with your friends. I can solo Crota, I help ppl reg with end game content, I have people to play with. But... The fact that bungie has put out content that in the own words is for the elite.. Is stupid, in a myriad of ways. Prime being that people paid for it, but only a small percentile would be able to complete it. So that leads players with less time, less experience to go elsewhere and at the same time feel ripped off

2 RepliesI'm not apposed to optional matchmaking because I don't think it would effect the players who would rarely use it, (myself included. I don't think you'll ever see matchmaking in raids and rightly so in my opinion). But if you guys spent half as much time looking for a fire team as you do whining about not having one, you may have already solved your problem by now.
