ill start with my jellyhorn earnage , i once had to carry a team through nightfall , the game detected it and rewarded me properly

How is doing something as simple as opening the vog exotic chest, doing a nightfall, weekly, or raid more tough than buying it from xur? They are all effortless, all randomized drops, and no matter what you do, even if it is to wait for xur to sell it, it takes time.

Thought to myself I'd have a quick game of clash. I joined, entered a game with 30 seconds to go. Killed 2 of the opposition, we won. To my disbelief, the yellow box with that glorious mother fvcker popped up. Oh yeahh. 2nd and 3rd I got from the first chest on crota end, before it got moved to death singer 4th from crota 2 weeks ago

I did crota normal on my titan and we finished after doing pretty good and I got like my 4th song of ir yut and than cut my Xbox off for the night and then the next morning I logged on and went to orbit and gjallarhorn popped up and I was so freaking ecstatic. I guess it was a second roll and sense I cut my Xbox off before going to orbit it had to wait until the next morning to give it to me

3 RepliesI may have the best earned Ghorn story ever. I was playing Crota Normal mode, probably my 3rd time. We were using left side strat and I was on boomer duty with 2 other people. Once I realized how easy it was and that it could easily be done with 5 people, I started to relax. My fiancé called me and asked to come outside and help with groceries. Normally I would be frantic but I wasn't worried. When I came back inside and saw the TV, I was orbit. Uh oh, I thought. "What happened?" ... "[i]-blam!- off dude[/i]" was the reply. I opened my inventory and saw a blinking square. It was black hammer. I immediately went to the tower to pick up bounties to take this bad boy out and start leveling it up. I had heard that it was bauce against the devil walker in the Sepiks Prime strike so I that's where I went for the "Strike without dying" bounty. When I got to the walker, I went to swap my Arc damage Jolder Hammer (for fallen captains) to my old Solar Rocket. And that's when I saw it. A gjallarhorn sitting in my inventory.

I didn't 'earn' my first one. I was playing Crucible in Iron Banner and had to go get my dog from outside (he had escaped, he's a husky) and when I came back we lost by a lot and got a Gjallarhorn. My brother was moving around for me while I did this. Note that I don't afk things I just had to this game. The other three I got from VoG Chest, Crota normal and hard.

Was playing crucible with my friend a couple weeks after getting the game. After 2nd match of control I got the icebreaker as a reward. We played another match and at the end I got the gjallahorn. Needless to say my friend wasn't jealous, just happy for me :)

First from atheon on normal, I got a second a week or two later from ir yut. Neither raid was remarkable...

He he got it on my 2nd character barely leveled enough to go in lvl 30 VoG (lvl 27 titan) and got it in gorgon chest, totally earned. :)

I got one from iron bannner match, ranked like fourth place. And one from a legendary engram I got from a roc playlist.

Had 4 drop for me, all RNG. No skill. No feeling of accomplishment. I have randomly been gifted 4 Gjallohorn. This earner versus xurner shit needs to stop
