LOL all these clowns are trying to use pulse rifles now.
Its so hilarious to see people, now trying to use pulse rifles and still getting mauled. Just because they buffed them doesn't mean you can get by even if you can't shoot. Stick with auto rifles.

Pretty much a 2 shot kill in the head now, well that's with three little words which is a beast with glass half full and nearly full stability, i agree though everyone think's using pulse rifles in pvp will make them do much better it won't but pulse rifles are definately alot better now.

I use OVERSOUL edict a lot now, I still use my timur's lash primarily, but OVERSOUL and preadyths time piece have a place in my inventory now respectively.

The Conduit from FWC is my only legendary pulse rifle, so I tried it out in the Crucible. Can't really notice the difference, but maybe that's me.

Knowing the buff was Incoming I played with pulse rifles to become more efficient with them and back then it was somewhat difficult to drop a man. The buff did great work. And hell, if a player only use ARs or handcannon, and can't get a decent kill number with pulse and scout rifles, then that player is just a novice. Becoming efficient in all weapons is pretty good feeling.

I was effectively using coiled hiss before he buff. The buff just made me atrociously lethal. Not everyone can use PR's but those who can simply shred.

I've been using pulse rifles efficiently this whole time. To lay some truth on you folks.. it's user error :\ You can't roll around with a pulse rifle like you would an auto rifle or scout. It's a different play style. You actually have to plan your shots before you pull the trigger and be able to adapt as the situation changes. Wild spraying with a pulse rifle will land you in a pickle. Pulse Rifles are actually a higher skill weapon. That's why people think they suck so bad. You have to calculate muzzle climb in a grouping rather than round for round. You also have to consider how many bursts you have in accordance with how many enemies are immediately threatening you. Then the current life each enemy still has. Proper HP / positional management of your enemies can lead to killing 2 or 3 enemies with a single burst. I know.. to consider all this in the second you have to react when turning a corner into a room seems difficult.. but with enough practice it'll become second nature. Truth is.. you're going to consider pulse rifles useless until you learn how to use it's characteristics to your advantage. But hey, go ahead and keep claiming they suck. You're only getting your weapons nerfed against me. :P

Just been using pulse rifles for the grim card lol. Tried it in pvp post patch a but but still love my hand cannons and suros more.

Lol i actually used them before the update and im pretty good with them now. I mainly use Red Death, and Timepiece (higher stability than Edict), and i wreck. Thorn is countered by Red Deaths healing. No Autos really out kill Pulses anymore (maybe Suros). TLW competes and so does Hawkmoon, but strafing throws off TLW. Give them a shot people its pretty fun im glad for the weapon changes.

6 RepliesLol yes i think its funny as hell when i read in the forums about how great bad ju ju is! Its a joke, these idiot believe everything they are told. I had one moron yesterday telling me how fatebringer was only good for weak enemies. Bad news, dummies, pulse rifles SUCK but keep using them. All bungie did was bring the overall damage level down even more to once again artificially increase difficulty. A serious buff for pulse would have been more like 20 percent. But dont feel bad, autos suck just as bad now. And shotguns, which really did get a decent buff, will be nerfed as soon as the crucible pussies realize they arent getting killed by suros any more but are dying just as much

I think it's funny that I've been using RD and wrecking. It's funnier watching others try to kill me with the Suros now. It never comes close. Can't decide if I want to stick with pulse now or go back to my usual HCs
