LOL all these clowns are trying to use pulse rifles now.
Its so hilarious to see people, now trying to use pulse rifles and still getting mauled. Just because they buffed them doesn't mean you can get by even if you can't shoot. Stick with auto rifles.

Bungie buffed pulse rifles in hopes that more people would use them. If more people are using them I'd say it's mission accomplished. I don't see the problem.

I finally got the red death from crota last night. Started levelling it up and that thing is way more powerful than I expected. Red death is good for health regen. Bad juju gives you alot of supers. And oversoul edict is a primary that does arc damage. All of them are very handy, so why not use them?

1 ReplyEh it's the dumb thing with this community. Bungie upgrades a weapon class and all of a sudden the majority of players start using it just because they see everyone else do it. Not saying that you only use it because its stronger but most of you sure as hell aren't using it because you liked them before lol. Now more than half the community wants a red death.

Been using Three Little Words before the buff simply for Grimoire. You had to work some magic with it to get it to kill stuff back then.

There actually pretty good. I like trying out new weapons wether there bad or good...I will say though, oversoul edict in the nightfall this week with the arc burn is BEAST

2 RepliesThat's the thing, man: most people can't go back to autos because they've been nerfed into the ground. Multiple range/long-distance stability nerfs. Critical hit damage nerf. Base damage nerf (and another range nerf) Why bother, when you can use a pulse rifle and get longer range, more accurate shots, full-auto anyway (Bad Juju, Oversoul Edict, Stranger's Rifle), +10% base damage compounded with a 1.25% Critical Hit modifier? (I used Pulse Rifles and HCs for a very long time, and recently switched to Autos to change things up. Believe me when I say that using one is a serious handicap in PvP now.)

Never used pulse rifles in pvp, never will. I refuse to conform to bungies prison rules.

Now all of a sudden they're a viable weapon choice and people want to see for themselves. Give players some time to adjust to a weapon type they aren't quite used to yet.

Been using bad juju and red death exclusively. I laugh at the scrubs with bad juju getting destroyed. Even with thorn, we both get two shots off and they're dead and my heal negates poison. So much hate

Bad juju was awesome before patch and is even better now. It is my favorite gun. Destroyed some guys in rumble earlier with that and trusty final rest 2. Its great for when you have multiple people running at you.
