Icebreaker
Is it reasonable not to get the icebreaker after 62 clears? Also, I have done everything except solo for the title. I really enjoy the game but…

7 RepliesI wouldn’t worry about it. They still havent even fixed the catalyst quest. Still bugged and shows I have it in the patterns collection but I don’t have it on the weapon. These devs should be ashamed of themselves lol

I've done 8 clears and I'm over it lol. That last boss is not fun. Would be nice to get it but I'm not stressing about it. Game is pretty much dead at this point. Not worth worrying about.

Almost every time I solo flawless a dungeon for the first time I get the exotic, except for Duality.

2 RepliesRNGesus you gotta pray to every night. On the upside the gun is just good for nostalgia. The new way it works sucks. Just an fyi. You’re not missing out. Still hunt n cloud strike are better imo. They don’t give you it bc they wanna keep you engaged. Pray some more to RNGesus though he may answer your prayers. I farmed the crap out of warlords ruin boss for buried bloodline for like hrs before getting it and another disappointment. Streamers make things look so good but when you get em it’s like wtf did I waste my time for.

To be fair, you only get 3 chances a week, it released early October so if you did it 3 times a week, once with each character your looted clears is still close to 40 give or take. Bungie has also never once mentioned if the drop chance increases for dungeon exotics after clears unlike the raid exotics. We can assume, but that's all it is, a assumption.

1 ReplySucks man, mine just dropped the other night. If it matters, I did 3 CPs of the boss last week on individual characters and got it on a full play through this week.

One time I did 28 straight nezorac clears trying to get conditional finality and didn’t get it. Haven’t touched a raid or a dungeon since.

I've done runs of Duality and still haven't got the sword since release. Some people never got the exotics from dungeons even after 80 runs even with all of the drop rate increases. Bungie just wants play time. They could care less what the players want at this point.

1 Reply[quote]I have done everything except solo for the title.[/quote] The Seal for a given Dungeon does not show all the Triumphs available for it, especially the ones that boost your RNG for the Exotic drop. Check your Triumphs page under the Legends tab and you will see you have completed two of the five RNG boosting Triumphs. The three that remain are for Solo, Flawless and Solo Flawless completions. And as others have pointed out, Icebreaker can currently only drop from the first clear per week per character; this will remain the case until the next Dungeon is released with Heresy, when you will be able to infinitely farm for the Exotic when Vesper comes up in the Dungeon rotator. Well, of those 62 clears, only a maximum of 39 clears would have been eligible for Icebreaker to drop (Once per character per week). Regardless, I hope it drops for you soon Guardian!
