Happened 2day no joke I get inv 2 do crota on hard and the team had 4 31s and a 32. I already knew we were gonna fail so I decide to stay. I asked them "have u guys killed crota on hard yet?" They said "Of course" we spawn in and ask whos grabbing chalice and 4 instantly die. Also their heavy weapons were trash 2 use against crota.

I decided to hop in with my noob friend a few months ago because he said he wanted another experienced player with him on his first VoG run (note this other "experienced player" is who the story is about). In any case we made it through the first bit alright then we got to confluxes... The experienced player was an idiot. He told the entire fireteam in his squeaky little voice that all we had to do was survive because the vex just try to kill themselves at the confluxes. I had been silent for the first part because everything was going well, but I freaking lost it. I started howling with laughter into my mic. After I stopped I mocked the self proclaimed "experienced player" and told the fireteam how to do that encounter and basically the coached them on the entire raid from that point on.

1 ReplyThat a group of guys (their gamertags started with mbba) told me they did the VOG 100 times on normal and hard yet kept making noob mistakes at gorgan and atheon (that was my first time doing VOG on normal)
