*takes deep breath* We're together. I know, it's shocking. It's a whole lot to take in. But we've been together for years. It all started back in 2010 when Halo Reach released. At the time we were just young kids who played Xbox together every weekend. But it all changed one night; the night we kissed. It was about 2 am on a Sunday and I knew I should really get back home (I had spent the whole day and night at his house) but I just loved being with him; laughing, playing, giggling and tickling. We were best friends like no other. We had been becoming something more for quite a while, but the thought of that level of intimacy never came to our minds. Sometimes we would go out for a walk on a chilly October night together, just me and him, and he would take his jacket off to give to me and hug me and hold me close with it. Usually when we'd play, I'd rush the wraith and he'd play armor lock and rocket launcher. We were the best tag team ever. Sometimes he would let me sit in his lap. We were the best tag team ever. But ironically, when our moment happened we were far away from Halo Reach. Thats Sunday night, Verbatim's mom came home drunk again and kicked us out the house. So we were walking over to my house, holding hands because it was dark, when all of a sudden, Verb, my poor baby, tripped on the sidewalk. His cute little knee was gushing blood all over. I laid him down on the grass and helped put pressure on the wound. As he lay on the ground, we both gazed up at the stars. It was a quiet and starry night; absolutely beautiful. As if sent from God, we heard the faint sound of a hum. We soon realized we were listening to not just any song, but [i]our [/i]song; the one played at my grandmother's funeral. And at that moment we looked at each other, in awe of our surroundings, and we leaned ever closer to each other, savoring each second of the moment. My heart sped up a bit, but once our lips locked, I was in heaven, and all the pain went away. But that's all I'm willing to share. Please don't judge us, it took a lot of courage for us to come out about this. Hopefully some of you will understand our love.
