I had a hard crash with Destiny for some unknown reason that closed the game window but the program stayed running in the background and had to use the Task Manager to shut it down. When I tried rebooting the game, it spent about 20 minutes verifying game files and had an error that the files could no be verified. I am using the error/trouble shooting guide and trying to verify the game files through Steam. If I have to resort to doing a complete reinstall on PC, would I loose the characters, vault items, resources, ect.?
