Bungie, please just let Iron Banner run for two week
There’s basically nothing to do in the game right now, and Trials is nearly unplayable. So why not give us Iron Banner for two weeks for once, especially after it’s been gone for so long?

1 ReplyEdited by Griever: 4/11/2026 3:22:14 AMLet's not also forget how they basically tried to scam us with the armor last season and the only weapons were a reprised Finite Impactor, which they had to buff all the stats on by like 10-15 each because it was left so far behind stat-wise after so many years, and a 200rpm scout rifle that became basically worthless when they nerfed the weapon stat so it couldn't 3 tap with boxed breathing. 2 iron banners per year and all they have to show for it since EOF is moving the armor they originally intended last season into Eververse, reprising season 2 armor as "new armor", swapping that armor out for another Eververse set, 1 reprised gun that was underpowered, a gun that got gutted quickly, and now another new gun that looks like it's just meant to replace Riposte (frame aside). If they really wanted people to be excited for iron banner, they would've brought back the iron lord armor and the Rise of Iron weapons from D1 like people have been asking for for years. Then again, they waited until the game lost like 90+% of it's active players before finally giving us a Taken armor set and shader, so why should we be surprised if in the next IB they give us back those D1 items?

Because it looked too nice to be simply earned in game? Do you really trust anything they do or say at this point? And it would be nice if it was 2 weeks.

After the first day I doubt it’ll even be playable. The population is just too small for PvP to be enjoyable. Every match is just a sweat fest.

agree...They know we are in a drought period and they give us 1 week of Iron Banner?... at this point its like why complain about anything... this company is checked out... they are so far checked out cant even earn other weapons in comp/trials from eof or before... even if you paid for the whole year... its a scummy company -

1 ReplyI haven't played Iron Banner in a good while and I just got back into this game 1 month ago. Hope it doesn't have complicated reward systems or you know something like that. Just like "Here's this bounty dude shoot players with any gun archetype and turn in" then boom here's this token and choose any gun you want

2 RepliesOne can only hope that the single week will bring enough PvP players back that we won’t keep facing the same names over and over. Maybe FOMO will be a thing. But yeah, I’d rather see it for 2 weeks or just go back to every 3rd week of the month.

1 ReplyI haven't played Destiny 2 in months, until last weekend. I played through the last basic campaign mission I had left. I haven't touched PVP or Iron Banner for I don't know how long ago, probably more than a year? I have no interest to play either sweatfest. I went on to do the Praxic's path and came to having to replay Fire and Ice, which I quickly quit, I don't enjoy that mission at all. Haven't played since that.

This would be such an easy W. Heck Id say let it run for one month. MARAFLOP is bleeding players each and every single week anyways... Its not like its going to take anymore away from that game. Only the hard-core Destiny 2 pvp players are playing it lol. Let them stay there!

I miss the weekly rotation of activity drops and rep boosts kept things fresh and eased burnout... It always was crucible boost on iron banner every 3 weeks vanguard week always had fun mods to speed through strikes and gambit for rep for triple perk guns and resource recovery from the last week do to fast matches... Good times

PvP is so bad right now it was the only thing keeping me logging in . Haven’t been playing much , played the other day 5 games and 4 mercies and the same meta that’s been around for over a year ! Just nothing to chase and IB I have low experience!
