Guardian Games shows why D2 is in a terrible state
Honestly, who is having fun running with 6 negative modifiers at grandmaster difficulty in every activity? All the losers who complained that Destiny 2 was too easy moved on the second they added this 'difficulty,' I wonder why that is? Maybe making every enemy a bullet sponge was a bad idea.

I do not believe it was just a BAD idea. I believe it is vindictive payback. I would bet real money the devs who are left are some of those toxic ones who laughed at players not liking the difficulty changes. Bad workers who Sony does not want anywhere near anything else except bungie's stuff. Look they obviously do not like the players and totally ignore player feedback. They have consistently proven they do not know what the bulk of the players want. I believe they are mad because they view what has happened as personal and directed against them. Why would they not do something out of spite because players are speaking with their wallets and the gravy train is now dried up. Just my 2 cents.

2 RepliesNot me for sure! Can't even play a decently matched PvP game. And I have to look at the DAMN PORTAL for a way into activities. I cannot wait for it to disappear altogether as it funnels the player into a how Bungie want a PAYING CUSTOMER to play ACCORDING TO THEIR STANDARDS (severe lack of IMO). It's the very antithesis of " Play How You Want". Whatever Bungie. Other things that make me stop & hand over the controller : 1. The fun in PvE is GONE - Timed Activities and Modifiers ad nauseum ARE NOT FUN!!!! 2. The cheating on Console has IMO become as crazy as on PC. Maybe even worse. 4. Bungie is NOT DEALING WITH CHEATERS - this is VERY EVIDENT. 5. Unbalanced PvP lobbies - this I believe is deliberate and a "stealth rage bait" for Titans and Warlocks. How else could this have happened? Please tell. 6. No Roadmap - so we don't know where we're at nor do we know what's next Great job Bungie. 7. Contacting Destiny Servers - I'm 1000 Mbps DL Hardwired with Mongoose etc errors 8. GG Rigged Clearly for Warlocks to win - c'mon Bungie. Titans didn't even win ONE day in 2 weeks??? Really??? And with Hunters nearly 100% wins in Supremacy aren't close? Pffft.... 9. Tier 5 weapons awarded non stop but with ZERO EFFING CRAFTING weapons and activities to chase. 10. RUBBISH Tier 5 weapons from GG I might add.....who actually has fun using this crap? FFS, 11. The "closing business sale" of just $28 for EVEYTHING we paid hundreds for.....great work Bungie. For everyone else who has read and felt somewhat the same, I empathize.

Last week of GG, no one is trying to que up supremacy. Error codes twice for match making taking too long. Boo Bungie.

Especially when you keep loading into a completed activity with no chest, get soft locked on the 4th encounter, or load into a game where the boss has full health and the timer has one minute left. I lost out on like 2/3 games to those issues and usually takes multiple attempts just to start playing it

Sony hoovered up around 120 staff at the last round of playoffs. Bungie has the majority of the studio working on Marathon. The only devs left on D2 are the ones that Sony and Bungie don't want anywhere near anything that matters to them.

Guardian Games needs to leave and never comeback. Every year is the same. PVP is dominated by whatever class is OP in the sandbox at the time. Meanwhile, it's pointless to earn medals and try to get your class to win, because it's rigged so that one class just curbstomps the other two for the whole event. Even the inspiration for the event doesn't make sense. It's based off the Olympics? The event that takes place every other year? Get rid of this class diversity crap and give us back Revelry.

I didn't even downloaded the update of Guardian Games, this year. First time I skipped a Destiny event since 2014. That's how bad the state of the game is.
