Bugged gear
So I have 32 hours in destiny 2 and I recently just hopped back on my account after several months of not playing and I noticed that my overall power level was 10 and all of the gear that I grind for has became power level 10 I don’t know if this is a glitch or something, but I just want to know what happened and if there’s any way to possibly fix it

Hey there, when Edge of Fate launched in July 2025, it brought a huge overhaul to the power system. The power boundaries were changed from 1900-2010, to 10-550. In addition all gear for all players was brought down to power 10 regardless of what they were before. So what you are seeing is normal and expected.

Hi there. With the launch of Edge of Fate, Bungie squashed the power scale and reset all players to level 10. The new max power level is currently 550 and players were given a set of 300 level equipment next to Zavala to catch up before the current DLC, Renegades. If it's still available, look for a chest next to him.
