May as well go out with a bang and buff every weapon

The game is basically hooked up to life support that's plugged into a faulty outlet and powered by an outdated generator. I've been saying for awhile that the number of stat monsters that keep being introduced (a number that's going to increase a lot with the June update) and later nerfs (direct or otherwise) keep invalidating previous nerfs or stat differences between various weapons, including exotics. At this point, what are various reverts to perks like Magnificent Howl (which was originally nerfed A LOT harder than the patch notes said it would be), restoring the buffed Thorn's 2 tap (without needing an additional buff like Radiant), or just giving +20-30 to all stats for every weapon going to break that can't or isn't already being broken just as much by 12 different guns in every weapon type? The worst either would do is "modernize" older weapons since it would account for both the tier system and performance enhancing perks (several didn't exist back then) like Keep Away or Perpetual Motion that most if not everyone uses, correct nerfs to stats or perks that are no longer valid in any capacity due to later nerfs/ additions to the game, and bring exotics in line with the many legendary alternatives since the gimmicks aren't always good or viable either compared to the ease of use the other weapons provide or the power of the perks available. And if it does actually break anything, I don't see the overall or even the pvp population dying any faster than it already is. What's the harm at this point? If the game is going to die like so many keep saying, I can't think of any negative consequences to making every weapon feel godly to use. The closest probably anyone can give against this is either the gimmicks exotics have, of which not all of them offer anything you can reliably use or have a reason to try such as: * Sunshot, which has 20-30 less AA than it's supposed to as a 150 hand cannon and there are equal/ better options for ad clear * Jade Rabbit, all it has going for it is it has 20-32 more AA than all other 150 scouts, the "gimmick" is it's basically the first nerf to Magnificent Howl except it can store 3 body shots that match crit damage, enabling a 3 shot body kill after 9 crits without reloading * Dead Man's Tale, no increasing damage and hip fire requiring near if not pinpoint accuracy even with Moving Target, 3 targeting mods, and Dance Machines makes it effectively worthless compared to any other scout or a 120 hand cannon with a perk like Adagio * Forerunner which already had low usage has basically sunk to non-existence thanks to Uncivil Discourse which can get quadruple 100s, all Forerunner has going for it is the faster ttk, but needs an extra crit to kill Or they're just salty af because of times a weapon was OP **YEARS AGO**, some of which due to a bug: * Lord of Wolves is the only shotgun that can't one shot/ burst a player. Well it can, but hip fire is unreliable at best and still requires at least 2 crits and 3 body with a weapon that can miss even when the stationary target is kissing the barrel, but so many have tried to say it doesn't deserve a buff because of the 1 month it was basically a burst fire sniper. If it shouldn't have the advantages of a shotgun, it shouldn't have the limitations of one. * Or Thorn because it dominated D1 Y1, apparently restoring it's 2 tap after collecting the buff would somehow break it, completely ignoring the fact the poison is worthless now in pvp at base since you still need 3 crits, a worse Kill Clip while buffed since the poison won't kill immediately after getting 2 crits 1 body, and that you have to put yourself at risk for this "buff" If the game is going to die as the decreasing population is suggesting, you're probably better off trying to encourage people to stay by at least making every gun few good to use.
