Weavewalk is too powerful

It needs to not last as long or have the damage reduction reduced. Abilities shouldn't be a free kill. The new warlock helm allows too much chasing with no counter to suspend a player on exit. Please adjust this. Make it last less time while in the weave walk or, reduce the damage reduction. Players shouldn't be able to chase you all over the map while taking no damage to then suspend you.

  • Void Hunters complaining about weave walk🤣 I’ve never seen so many -blam!- dime bars in one forum. Crucible is over run with void hunters . You’re lucky to encounter a weave walker once every 10 matches…. Hunters🤣 bunch of dime bars🤣🤣🤣

    • It has multiple counters. Learn them and start using them. They can't attack you in weavewalk and if you have even a single counter then it is a 100% win for you.

        yeah, dr and CDmalus inside pvp need a massive nerf, and this season is even stronger thanks to the new exotic

      • Only thing I'll really say is there's no reason why the mage should have an ability able to tank basically anything that's not a kill command when the class where one of the parts of it's "identity" (titan) is literally "damage mitigation" can't do so even by combining a Well and a bubble, especially when Weavewalk is capable of indirectly damaging people through Threadlings, arc souls, and hellions. I mean imagine hunters whose identity is supposed to be "damage avoidance, attack precision" and I can't remember the other, but it DEFINITELY wasn't supportive or tanking, was able to revive the whole team without a super?

        • Just came here to see if someone had posted about this. Guys are 95% dead, pop this thing and run away while I'm pouring bullets into them. Definitely needs a nerf in pvp.

          • One of the devs couldn’t get many kills with their warlock so they made it so they can have easy kills

          • I’ve been complaining about suspend since lightfall being too punishing compared to being frozen and Bungie has not cared the whole time since it had to be that way for strand to get more play and because it was so good for the hunters clearly in PvP… they need to nerf suspend because it isn’t just a warlock helmet issue warlocks have been gimped from being suspended for a very long time, suspend has been long overdue a nerf and better way to escape out of it honestly

          • Stasis with freeze and slow does counter weavewalk, if you’re a warlock like me supposedly bleak watchers can absolutely punish weavewalk because if they don’t get away in a reasonable amount of time they’re cooked. I just wish malfeasance could beat it tbh, it would be nice if it did but oh well. Coldsnap nades can lettem know how you’re feeling at least.

            • It’s honestly not bad to deal with if you just wait it out. Just like invis it is very cheesy and therefore effective but is manageable

                • Yeah that 2.2 percent of warlocks using broodweaver in trials is really throwing a wrench into that 27% of spectral blade hunters 🤦🏻‍♂️

                  • 3/5 OG subclasses plus prismatic all have a direct counter. Suppress, freeze, and suspend all stop weavewalk instantly. I’m not ever going to say weave walk isn’t good. But it is able to be countered.

                    Yes and like others said so is Invis. Its because Bungie doesn't stick to a philosophy or a good one for PVP. When I hit a target it should hurt them.. this is a fundamental principle of PVP. Weave-walk goes against that. Another fundamental thing is we are all on the radar / we can see to hit and evade... invis hunter goes against that. Freezing, wall-hacks, etc... these all go fundamentally against what is PVP. Is there a fun place where these could play in a PVP setting.. sure go get frustrated in Mayhem. But in general PVP has to stick to something... ...anyway magically... the greatest space fantasy thing of all is... PVP still is fun sometimes > but that is RNG

                    • Pvp will never be balanced. Bungie has had the same design philosophy for a decade. Make something broken for awhile, then make something else broken for a while. Balancing a game that has new things added to it every 6 months is probably impossible anyways. Honestly pvp games were better when they were release as is and didn't change.
