Control is dead
Every game I get into control now is a mercy. We either destroy the other team or we get Destroyed. Neither of those is any fun for anyone. Used to be the fun casual mode. Now it’s absolutely terrible.

Yeah, unfortunately Destiny pvp has been pretty dead for a long while now. Summer of 2024 was the last time pvp was cool at all. It was around the time Revenant dropped, when it died.

Well it’s not dead cause we can still get games . I only play for fun but still so many take it so seriously….had a regular tea bagging away and shooting bodies ….just funny to see people still tea bag …so 2020’s and pure cringe 😂

6 RepliesYeah, Control is in a piece of -blam!- state right now. Almost no game is worth playing to the end anymore. What an incredible incompetent PVP team this game has! I am always surprised how much worse they manage to mess it up every time. And they want us to buy their next PVP-only game...

Outlier Protection/Delta was designed with so much population. The current numbers cant hold that anymore. It just has to be random MM conection.

Play trials instead. Low population is a good thing because you almost guarantee at least 1 sweat teammate.

I sadly agree - the falloff in Control balance > for me very noticeable after the 1st update of the year is the #1 reason I play less D2 and don't consider Marathon. Control is the center loop for what I do in D2 its to feed the variety of weapons that can be used/tested in that casual mode.... for me its counterpart in PVE is Onslaught.
