You don’t need the artifice slots? High tier armor is just better.
Edit: I misread the post.
This is so much of a non-issue that I don’t know why I even responded.
Old class items maxed out at 25 points.
The new ones can get over a hundred.
There is no reason to still be using the old ones.

Exotic armor does have Tiers; it's just unfortunate that until Bungie gets the situation sorted (sometime next year is the projection, I think?) they don't go over Tier 2.

Please show the class on any exotic armor piece, where the tier markers are... Like I said there are no tiers. "There will be tiers" does not negate the accuracy of my comment. BTW: no other EXISTING exotic armor piece had the slot removed...🤷🏽

I have the Exotic Class items I want so I haven't gotten any new ones. However, every piece of Exotic armor I've gotten since the start of the expansion is Tier 2. Not that there will be, there are. Also, I didn't say anything about the extra mod slot; only that Exotic armor is Tiered.

Nor does it need it. New gear DOES have tiers. There’s no valid reason to cry about this new system. I lost out far more than most people did yet I’m not crying about it

This new site update suck too.... I have to post things three and 4 times for it to hit the site.... I do not know if you got this or not. I am not talking about the new armor. I am talking about the armor I spent the better part of 3 years obtaining. When you play the game at that level? The reward is supposed to be: "No, matter what comes along, stat wise, you will be okay because you did your homework. Now, unless they have decided to outright destroy the balance of the game? You will safely have enough points to raise 3 areas to 100 and the rest to at least 30, bottom yourself out in areas to gain 4 slots with 100, hyperfocus on 1 slot forcing 200, with another slot granting 100, or Hyper focusing on only 2 slots and zeroing out everything else for a double 200. This means my old armor is more than relevant, and I do not honestly need it, unless I just collect it as a hobby, because I put in the toil. Them removing those 3 slots messed up most of my builds. I have not inspected you, but I know that if you took as much ti.e as I did with mine? You would feeel the sa.e way.

And you’ll be fine with your old armor. I had a flawless rolled 4x100 build and it was perfectly viable in edge of fate.

From what I have seen? It is not better. And rightfully so. It just offers a new way to play and give additional bonuses for those builds that roll over. It is HIGHLY annoying that the new stats do not trigger AT 100.... because my whole build theme was bassed on perfectly rounded numbers.... My main show suit does not activate the new pathways, so it is now considered incomplete...

Use the fonts on the armor, they will give you +30 for each stat that it buffs. You would need armor charges, but essentially any armor charge will give you the buff in damage. Your 100 stat will go to 130. The only one I wouldnt suggest is the weapons font, as the surges are more beneficial.

I am talking about my old set that I spent the better part of 3 years obtaining, that I eventually built around my Exotic bond, and the flow of which was ruined by them removing a feature that never should have been for the difficulty of attaining. When you play this game the way I do, the reward is no matter what new changes come along, stat build wise, you are supposed to be okay, so long as you did not go the uber cheesey route.

All of them triple 100, and a couple quad 100. They were adjusted based on the seasons. I also had over 8 pages of armor that I collected since season of the Arrivals. Approx 550 armor pieces in my vault. What Im getting to is that the new armor is actually better and easier to obtain. Raids and dungeons were really the only place to obtain high stat armor, but almost never dropped 68-71 (old stat max). The masterworks also have the artifice bonus built into them. (old armor +12 from masterwork, new armor is +15 after masterwork. ) Now once you hit power level 400, all your armor is T4 70-75 (new stat max). Not only have I been able to clear out lots of my old gear, but I have been able to make my first Pentuple 100 build!! (5x100 stat build) I would suggest getting to 400 before the halloween event, because if its the same as Solstice, you will be showered with high stat armor! Utilize D2armorpicker as well, its been optimized for the new armor! Very easy to stat build.

Very easy to stat build.[/quote] All 12 of my Witch builds including my Tripple 100 with zero remaining o erages which because of the foolish rule that you MUST be over in order to trigger the activation of the extras, is now classified as an incomplete build in my book. Not to mention the 11 Complete Triple 100s of my Huntress and 12 of my Titan. The parts go back to the Red War. were 68 to 74, so you should understand how much time that took. It is a blessing I could retrofit my main build to fit the current rules. But it is a counter in one area to what I designed my Witches build to be. Exceedingly high restoration. And those missing 3 stat points played 🌋 with me in ironing out any remaining lost stat value of 10. The game was fine how it was. I have no clue why they think messing with stats is fun for people. It was not fun the first 43 times they did it. It is not fun now. In fact many people left the game. And I know I will NEVER play another verion of this crap. EVER. Messing with my hard work is a HARD: "🌋nah". 🫵🐱

Thats a lot of personal feelings. Just for clarity, old armor capped at 71 and dropped as often as 69 and 70 (almost never). I see you are mostly upset about the artifice stat being removed, did you know that every legendary piece once masterworked gives you a 15 stats (that would be similar to the old 12 + artifice 3). Plus if its a T5 legendary, you can also increase each piece by 3 again! Your problems seem to be your attachment to your builds, but its not a public problem. You arent the only person to have builds like that. Ive done approx 50-80 triple 100 builds and some quad 100 before EoF. Every season I would tweek or rebuild based on the games needs. None of my builds took three years to make. Now I have 5x100 builds, or 4x100 builds with some stats at 150+. I had 9 pages of armor, and Im glad its all gone because the old armor did nothing except for stat build. The new armor has perks that are useful, whereas the old armor was tied to seasonal missions. So once the season was over, the intrinsic perks were useless. The possibilitues now are way better than before. If you have that kind of expertise in build crafting, then the new setup will be even better for you.
