10 levels with limited drop weekly and RNG based is never a good idea for "content" or "incentive"

It’s also not that bad
-
"Not that bad", tell that to players who spent weeks and not able to reach cap because RNG decided to be a jerk and people just being condescending about it
-
I will. It’s not that bad. It’s a 9 week season you can get 10 levels in 9 weeks (not even 9 weeks). There is a broader discussion about leveling rng but we used to have to grind 50 levels. Grinding 10 levels is not that bad.
-
With RNG and how often people complained about getting duplicates for weeks in the past, a player can spend weeks not reaching pinnacle until the end of the season so how is that not bad? Compared to 50 levels where you can finish it even with blues from patrol, that's how power grinding should be, simply about effort without RNG hindering you but I'm sure we don't have that 50 because you can finish it in one day, destroying their "content" aka grind padding to pad play time as much as possible to such little they give for $10 a season
-
Getting 10 levels might take 3 weeks with really bad RNG but that’s still nothing in a 18 week season. It’s not that bad.
-
That's three weeks wasted on "progression" just to be able to play "high level activities" again and I'm not going to waste my patience on it. You can already see how many people end up leaving destiny, this will end up making more players leaving
-
What high level activities are locked by max power? Gms aren’t going to be available and the leveling effectiveness has diminishing returns the higher you get in power in master raids
-
Any activities requiring that power level to not die in one hit due to being "under leveled" despite being made under leveled in the end
-
None. Absolutely no activities require you to be max power to not get 1 shot
