This is actually correct, but only because Bungie refuses to do anything outside a state of duress. We've seen this year that Bungie was willing to commit to a bad model even to a point that no course correction would come without consequences. I can't tell if it's blind faith or stubbornness on Bungie's behalf, but it cost them 10% of their staff. Many of which I might note were vets that contributed to defining what exactly Destiny would be, but either way the management at Bungie are completely inept. Bungie will never offer change freely. We have to actively make their bad decisions cost them to get Bungie to change, but realistically Destiny will be worse off for it either way, because Bungie has become complacent. I feel like if you look at the history of Destiny you'll see the evidence glaring at you. All of the times when Destiny was at its worst aligned perfectly with the times that Bungie made the most money. We will never get the Destiny we deserve unless we make Bungie struggle

Bungie has been going down this path much longer than Sony buying them. I personally don't get on destiny much. Got all the systems with plenty of choices.

I did. Been playing Starfield and loving it. I still maintain the only thing that can kill Destiny is Bungie, but Starfield came at just the right time.

Just got a half an hour suspension from comp because of the loading in crash in trials. I've just deleted the game, it's got to such a state where even concluding a 10 year story isn't interesting me at all. Haven't pre-ordered Final Shape and won't be either. I say this from the bottom of my heart; -blam!- Bungie. Genuinely hope management get thrown out the door and struggle to get re-hired after how they've handled this mess of a game.

I am unhappy with the game. I don't like that a lot of content, destinations, story missions, strikes, maps were vaulted and are no longer accessible, though I paid for each and every one. That's the bad thing about the switch they made from 'box product' to 'live service'. You used to buy a game. They had to make a very good polished, finished product in order to sell. If you chose to buy, the content you would pay for was always there to play as long as you liked. Now, with their 'live service', you pay for gaining access for a brief time to some cheap, quickly put together content, with a quality that is quite debatable, and then it is taken away so that you cannot access it anymore. That is good for them, you see? They just need to toss you some crumbs every now and then, and the flow of money keeps coming. Everything is over-monetized and designed to squeeze you as much as they can. Over time you end up spending a lot more but with nothing to show for it. Where are all those planets, PVP maps, story missions, strikes, special missions, quests, etc.? Just gone. If you are lucky, they will try to sell them back to you in some form or another as recycled content. Which is quite easier than making new content. Me? I stopped making any purchase after The Witch Queen. I made the decision not to spend a single more dime into this game. I am not buying TFS either. I don't need to spend $100 to see the end of the story. I'll watch it on YouTube if I am still interested. I will still be playing what I can access, though. I have paid for it, after all and I intend to make use of what I had already purchased. Bungie don't care whether you play or not. They care whether you give them your money.

Makes sense. If you are happy with the game keep playing. If you just don’t like specific things in the game then avoid doing them. If you’re really not happy with the game stop playing.

Honestly this doesn't make sense. First of all, there are games out there that people are unhappy about but they play them just because it's something they find interesting. I'm unhappy about driving my big -blam!- V8 anywhere but I still have to go to work so I can buy gas. Does that mean I should stop driving? I'm unhappy about life, but I'm still living. Telling people to quit something because they're unhappy about it doesn't make sense. It's called an opinion, you don't want to listen to them, don't surround yourself with people that give them.
