Just wanted to share my feedback, but I'm pretty disappointed in the general response from Bungie to this glitch. I won't pretend to understand the difficulty in correcting for it, but embracing it by telling everyone to have fun was a bit too far. I don't find this to be fun in the slightest. Every activity involving other people right now is infected with cheaters -- and yes, I understand it's a glitch that bungie has embraced for the time being, but it is 100% providing an unintended advantage; it's not an accidental occurence, but something that people are choosing to do with full intention that they are gaining an advantage. LFG -- both across the community as well as in Fireteam Finder here on bungie.net -- is almost exclusively oriented towards cheaters at this time. I sincerely hope that this will be addressed before Master Crota's End launches at reset, it would be a shame to ruin what was a fantastic reissue by allowing this kind of poor behavior to continue unfettered.
