Jus sad bro, Griefers:/
I just spent like a hour going thru spire w 2 randoms who were obviously in a discord or something and when we get to the last few hits on the final boss they kick me for no reason. Ik I have the cp but I wish reporting actually worked so people don’t feel free to grief others.

24 RepliesThis is why we need negative commendations, so this way, it serves as an in-game warning. I had this happen during the 2nd week of lightfall durning a 100k campaign mission run. Luckily, they were a millisecond too slow, and I barely got the pinnacle. We could have commendations like: Greifer-pushes players off edges, starts encounters early, boots players durning final encounters Foul mouth/screamer Quitter Afk Piggyback - looking for carries

I will boot anyone at any time i want in a group i make. You slack, you do stupid crap, i have to wait and wait on you cause you cant jump to one platform or you bring a trash -blam!- loadout then bye bye. While there are times people do what you describe, there is absolutely 0 benefit to do so unless you were a garbage can player etc. No one kicks the dude coming in, carrying his -blam!- and running the game like it's supposed to be.

We get to the boss before skolas and I am carrying their sorry asses with them dying a lot. Waiting for the next door to open, one leaves the party and I ask what’s going on and then I’m kicked. The other guy plays dumb and says he doesn’t know the other guy. I remind him that “you are bringing boiled peanuts to his house later so that’s bullshit.” He says “oh you heard that and remember that.” I tell him “you realize skolas is another boss later and I’ve been doing the most work with the least deaths?” He says “sorry” then leaves party. Edit: I join two new people at a CP and who had a bad player who quit so they posted for help. I tell them the story and we laugh while killing skolas. The best part I go and check the morons stats and they were still on it. Next day I checked again and they had multiple people try to carry them but didn’t get it done. My point is karma, fate, higher power will balance the scales of such behavior.

Edited by Mercurial Madman: 4/10/2023 5:06:57 PMWas there a reason that they removed you (IE were you not being a team player, idle or afk often, not pulling your weight, not following mechanics and causing multiple wipes, running ahead like Leroy Jenkins and dying repeatedly, or any other general shenanigans that adversely affected the group)? If not that definitely stinks, unfortunately some people are just jerks and hopefully they get pinkeye. With that CP in hand I'm sure you could've formed a group for last boss within minutes, and completed it quicker than the time it took you to write this post. Block the a**holes when you come across them and move on. Don't let others silly BS slow you down or darken your day. 😉

I had a guy do that to me on an LFG Nightfall, the other two were in the same clan and I got kicked when the boss was down to half health. Best bit was them threatening to report me for "abuse" for pointing out they have more eyes than brain cells in the trolling message they sent me. Just ignore them, in real life they are asking you if you want fries with that.

2 RepliesBungie could easily implement anti-griefing measures like, kicking is locked unless the whole fireteam returns to orbit, or something like locking kicking until after a chest is opened. It has to be locked somehow. To me, knowing this is a common issue, with no attempts to resolve just speaks volumes about the company and their mindset. At least they finally did something for Eager Edge griefing awhile back, but if I were developing, griefing, and destroying ways to grief would be among my first priorities so I could retain players. I guess Bungie doesn't really give a sh*t though. But they can't be bothered to fix gamebreaking issues in a timely manner either.

Bungie: “Our game is about making friends and playing with others” *game is absolutely hostile towards Co-Op Play. Bungie has literally never done a thing to improve the Co-Op experience. Oh I guess they added guided games Beta for like 8 years. 🤣 That’s something. Trials of Orisis is where Bungie makes the money. Which is contradictory because Destiny was advertised to us and still is as Co-Op Adventure. Yet there are no match making Co-Op adventures to even be had. Keep buying those season passes though folks so you can’t play Trials I guess.
