I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have the costs be reduced for everything including the Armor, considering that’s content that we paid for be bought back after being sunset.

I'm encouraging a boycott. Not on the game just on the legacy focusing. Give it a couple months of just not being used at all and they'll drop the costs to like 1,2,5 instead of 1,3,7. They want people to use new features otherwise it's just wasted coding time, wasted money. They always dial back and simplify if new stuff is getting ignored. Look at the evolution of weapon crafting.

Its 3 if you already havd it 7 if you dont most people will be getting for transmog so 7 for each piece of armour is reddiculas

I don't really care that much about the costs for the most part. What I want to know is how low they're going to set the adept nightfall cipher cap at? I could see them capping at like 10 so you could literally only focus one at a time. I would hope they'd cap it at like 150-200 so you can stockpile a lot for future focusing but I highly doubt it.

All you can do is stop interacting with it. They will lower the cost like they do everything else but you can'y interact with it or they will leave it the same. It doesn't even make sense for NF weapons either given none of the weapons there are any better than anything you can find throughout the game and you still have -blam!- RNG to go through. This is their initial desperate attempt to get people in reinvest in a mode they haven't changed in 6 years, but also without putting any effort into it. Just add a high cost to it. Bungie devs and designers are basically just mini suits at this point.

The main problem with this is the content isn't changing. They keep changing the systems without changing the content, and it's really not helping the game. They want us to grind out reputation for Vanguard to acquire the engrams, yet strikes/Nightfalls are not changing. They are the same old strikes we have had for years. It's just so mind numbing at this point. They can't keep changing the systems without the actual core activities. If they want to change the systems like this, they should at least throw in a bunch of new strikes. Bring some of the ones they took away back and add more enemies/change boss mechanics. Add more enemy density to ALL existing strikes. Give us back the skeleton keys with boss themed strike specific loot. Why do they just keep changing the systems? Like, who's going to sit in Trials grinding out engrams when the reputation goes up at such a slow pace? Trials needs to change as a whole. Strikes need to change. GM's need to change. After the first 5 or 6 ranks, the reputation takes FOREVER. Who in the hell is actually going to be grinding that old strike playlist for vanguard rep? Mine barely hits max rank over an entire 3 month season. I don't even touch Trials because of how awful it is right now. GM's are completely pointless because they continue to re-add trash weapons nobody ever uses like The Swarm, the neutered version of Mindbenders, and a Hung Jury that is outclassed by many other scout rifles at this point. A big problem with the game is they think changing systems, sandbox updates, etc, are content, but they keep forgetting to update and change the actual content! What good is a system change or sandbox update if we're just running the same old stuff we were running a year ago? It's effin boring!

Those of us who had it ripped away from us in D1 should be allowed to re-obtain it tbh. Still wearing it in D1 as we speak for both my warlock and hunter, D2 trials is utter sh!te so I avoid it like the plague.

It's armor you've never obtained. Spend 3 once and than it's 1 from than on. Sounds fair to me.

As it currently stands, I will be hard pressed to find any incentive to actually use this Legacy focusing feature. Typical Bungie fashion in that it's more convoluted than it needs to be and the return on investment for the cost to do one focus is not worth it when you are taking a chance that you'll even end up with a roll that you would use.

Honestly the focusing cost seems reasonable enough at least for me since it’s for loot that can’t be acquired anymore. Especially for loot that was not in someone’s collections already. But with that said, there needs to be higher rank multiplayers for specific activities to allow for more engrams to be rewarded for activities like iron banner and trials of Osiris. Maybe have more frequent double xp weeks for crucible, trials, gambit, and vanguard to alleviate some of the grind for the more tedious activities to rank up in to get their respective engrams flowing.

I’m fine with it. Only if they increase the amount of engrams we can agree.
