For raids in LFG just search by your own platform instead for now I find that joining any platform LFG posts that do not specify a platform/or have an discord invite code tend to be a disaster even though they fixed in game chat for crossplay no one wants to use it and the 1 raid I did join using in game voice chat was probably the most awkward experience I've ever had in LFG groups

Been a fix for a while. Use lfg. You could find a group willing to carry you faster there. Also if you don’t use discord and play destiny you’re seriously missing out since cross play came about. Single best lfg I’ve used in destiny’s years

Cant blame people for not using it when there are plenty of better sources tbh

If it's console, yeah it's weird to have a peripheral like your cell phone on listening to a completely different app which is why Sony is going to allow discord on their console. No one likes using in-game voice chat because it sounds like static and muffled Garbo. Let's flip it on its head though. You make a team and every one of them wants you to use discord. Are you going to complain about it now? People like AztecRoss have an open invitation to their server and they have channels dedicated to groups doing activities. Good luck.
