Crow: Enters cathedral. Immediately Michael Jackson spins. Goes invisible.
Everyone in the room (witnessing the whole thing): ...the -blam!-?

Or maybe he vanishes BEFORE entering the portal? Just a thought.

Edited by Ferus Lux: 10/1/2021 8:48:32 AMIt would be very easy to pick a moment when the Queen is occupied. She's not canonically standing in one spot at all times. She has meetings with various characters and is studying and tracking leylines. It's the same principle of how there are stealth scenarios in games like Deus Ex or Splinter cell when the protagonist gets past impossible or difficult security. It's a -blam!- video game and Crow is a Hunter. A paracausal being gifted in stealth and agility. All of this is common sense to anyone who pays attention to the story and reads the lore. You played yourself and this post is stupid honestly.

You're bending over backwards here. It isn't like the Queen is the only one charged with tracking Crow. It also makes no logical sense for the Queen to leave Savathun completely unguarded. You know that. All I'm saying is it's questionable world building to leave such an obvious oddity like that. If they had a quick line about distracting the guards or something it would be fine.

Edited by Ferus Lux: 10/1/2021 8:56:07 AMSavathun isnt unguarded. She is behind an unbreakable spell. No Guardian or Hive can break it. You're the one bending over backwards because you're bitter and refuse to acknowledge reason. Not my problem.
-
Not sure why you insist on demeaning me, seems you're the bitter one, I'm just trying to have a conversation. Kind of presumptuous to assume the spell can't be broken, but regardless of the "unbreakable spell" it'd be sloppy to leave no one watching Savathun. She's the Queen of lies and trickery. Anyone who knows her reputation would see how obvious an oversight that would be.

Saying someone is bitter aka mad is not demeaning because you literally got confrontational and told me I had the audacity to sass you as though you're some kind of high official. Yeah...no. You made an oversight about the cloaking ability how am I wrong to assume you were a new light player that didnt know class lore? This is all so funny. Neither of us have said anything to personally attack the other and I refuse to believe saying someone who is being confrontational and agitated as bitter, is a personal attack. Anyway, It was also kind of sloppy to go Kamikaze and sacrifice thousands of your people like she did in Taken King and then leave Dreaming City unguarded. Shes a narcissist and very self absorbed and she has the luxury to be careless. Look how she treated Uldrens death. Negligence is her whole schtick my guy. If you dont wanna accept this then I dont know what else to tell you.
-
I suppose negligence would be fair... She HAS seemed a little odd lately, probably off balance from seeing "Uldren" again after the Taken War. I guess there are some fair excuses, I just think it's somewhat silly to have that loud of a commotion go unchecked the whole time, but I get it, the Awoken are busy with Xivu Arath's forces and all that. I apologize if I seemed confrontational, I wasn't trying to be, I was just responding to how I interpreted your way of ending your statements.

Seeing him and the Shock of him not recognizing her. I agree

Edited by Ferus Lux: 10/1/2021 9:24:27 AMMany parts could've honestly been fleshed out more and in a perfect world with the best resources and a larger team you could probably make entire campaigns out of the cool events these past 4 seasons. I learned to manage my expectations. I mean, we're dealing with Savathun is Eris is no where to be found. The budget/time constraints definitely start to show in these moments. Hell, imagine a mini game where we control Crow in a stealth segment to sneak in from a different path like one of those closed doors or something. Or just a cutscene of him stealthing in. So I dont think it's bad storytelling but rather limitations. Gameplay never tells the full story of how things happen in lore too. All good. It's all just forum discussion and I know it can be a bit hard to be respectful at all times especially after a bad day 👍🏼
