4-Burst Pulse Rifle When?
Am I the only one that was slightly disappointed when the new IB pulse rifle was revealed to be an adaptive? It’s really annoying trying to get a god rolled Sacred Provenance since Garden of Salvation is a less popular raid. I’m really hoping Bungie brings back the Aggressive 4-burst pulse sub-archetype, as it’s my favorite sub-archetype of pulse rifle.

1 ReplyWhy would you want more shots needed to get kills? Vigilance wing is 5 bullets per burst and I hate it. Less damage overall compared to no time to explain. Ttk feels slower the more bullets a pulse rifle has on each burst. Maybe I just need to use a 4 burst but I don’t really see the appeal

Not sure why they're kinda dumping them when they were well received. I dont know anyone that didn't think they felt good

Could also use some solid special ammo guns in kinetic slot like a fusion rifle for something different or a GL with chain reaction that deals damage in a kinetic aoe instead of arc. Everything in kinetic for special that feels good is either exotic or dsc shotgun/sniper imo. Most stuff I’ve tried takes forever to reload and the perks typically are worse than their equivalent in energy slot. Also tired of endless sidearms being released despite that having to be one of least popular weapons. Adaptive frames in general seem to be popping up far too often compared to other archetypes as well.

Yea they seem to have abandoned the aggressive burst and lightweight frames. It kinda makes sense cause most of the other weapon classes have 3-4 archetypes while pulses have 5, but I wish they had dropped the high impact frame instead of aggressive burst. Messenger would've been so much more interesting as a 4-burst.
