Today is the day to increase your resonance rank. (Math inside)
As of todays reset The Spider is selling Glimmer for Datalatice and Datalatice for Legendary shrads. It costs 1 shard for 5 Data, it 20 Data for 10K Glimmer which means that it would cost 4 shards for 10K Glimmer. When he's selling Glimmer for shards, it cost you 5 shards but you only get 5K Glimmer so in other words, you spending an extra 6 shards if you buy Glimmer for shards. Buy Data, then Glimmer, then buy the exotic consumable thing from the tower obelisk and turn it in to any destination obelisk. E Z resonance ranks.

The time lost weapons are largely garbage and there are better guns to get in the the game No doubt some tuber will make a video of them donating 4 trillion fractaline and their loyal subscribers will watch to see how awesome it is..... When I accessed the sundial on reset I got like 5k fractaline from something, maybe that...no idea. I rolled pretty much every weapon in the bounty list like 10 times and ranked up quite alot. Still only infused 11200 so far. I like it, i mean why the heck not just dump the fractaline and get some free rolls and xp, if anything shard it, not a bad trade off.

1 ReplyTook me 2 hours to go up 60+ levels to hit 100. It was far faster than the 1st 40 levels!! I'll donate 5k tomorrow and then that's it. I'll make my shards back by turning in fractaline for more items. In the big picture, this whole "donate fractaline" is the dumbest thing I've seen this game do. Here is the season in a nutshell: GRIND 4 obelisk leveling paths to open them....GRIND connecting them to the Tower.....GRIND them to level 11 for the seasonal perks to go away in March....GRIND fractaline donations....season end. Oh ya, we get YET ANOTHER hoard mode.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I got all of my Obilisks to level 27 so far. I just have been casually buying where I can. Looking forward to what'll happen after Tier7!!!!!!!

Then for the next few weeks 100 weapon frames and just keep dismantling for shards. I’ll come out short but I honestly don’t care I just want to help...and get PvP god roll perfect paradox.

Yeah No. I ranked my obelisks up and dumped about 7000 fractaline into the tower one. Done with this. I prefer shooting things when I play this game. Let the little Johnny scrubs complete the challenge. I care not.

It would take a little over three minutes to put in the 5000 farglevane but that seems so miserable to me that I just can’t do it. Sad, right? Four seconds per 100 fraggleltine is too damn long and Bungie should know this if they cared about player experience.

8 RepliesIt doesnt matter how much people donate, Bungie will find a way to make last until season end. Why do you think they said in the TWAB two weeks ago that tier 5 and beyond would require "?????" donations? They are just watching how people are doing so they can choose a random number out of reach until we are close to next season.

Are we under the impression that if we don’t hit the fractaline goal that Bungie will just shelve trials and not release it next season?! I mean, that would be the perfect scenario for me, but I genuinely doubt it!

2 RepliesI leveled my Obelisks. Got 10k on the reset, donated 5k (plus change for bounties) to complete triumph. Rest went back into Obelisks. I am NOT wasting Legendary shards on this. No hecking way.

7 RepliesI am not wasting time on this activity. It is really boring, and I would much rather use my Shards to buy Enhancement Cores. It is pointless to waste time on Fractaline donations and numerous Tangled Shore trips when everything I have already works so well. A lot of gamers don't see the broader view. Bungie is leading them down the path to weapon mediocrity. The weapons from the Obelisks are no good in most situations. Sunday afternoon I completed the Sundial on Legend, and I sure didn't need Obelisk weapons to do it. As for PvP, I never see any of these weapons. Having played numerous matches this weekend, I cannot recall even once getting killed with an Obelisk weapon. My best match ended with me as the top player and 37 kills. And what was I using, you ask? MIDA and LH! If you want to play Trials while using weapons from the Obelisks, then go right ahead and donate. I don't care about either of them.
