HOW COULD YOU FAIL THIS BAD
You cant have a supper secret community quest lead to a reward WE ALREADY KNEW ABOUT
I FEEL LIED TO , you have a sword on our grave , you have a secret released nearly 2 weeks before the bastion was supposed to come out and the secret reward is a gun we knew was coming? This could have been legendary this could have been whisper or outbreak level. Now it's as good a joke Ryan Johnson Star Wars.

7 RepliesIt should’ve led to the sunless cell strike , 970 power with small arms and arc modifiers. The reward could’ve been dark drinker

3 RepliesThis could be your college thesis someday.

I dont understand how players feel that Bungie has failed in any way..... look at the improvements made since D1. Iron Banner is a prime example..... its so much better in D2. And Trials.... And Factions... uh.... nevermind.

You were the chosen one. I loved you Annakin. You were my brother.

They were the n the verge of greatness?? Really?? Before this quest the last two seasons were going down as complete junk, but now they were on the verge of greatness, lmfao! This community is so entertaining.
-
1 ReplyIt was “super secret” for about an hour. Fewer people know how to make the Taken Blight Public Event go Heroic than knew about this puzzle by the time it was solved.
-
Huh? They were on the verge of greatness at the end of Destiny 1. Everyone was excited to see how they would improve on an already successful AAA game. The rest is history, shall we say. LOL.
-
How could they fail because they got the same idiot running everything in game nowadays or should I say ruining everything. They say the buck stops with the person at the top so. Mr c.e.o. how are you going to fix this one🤨

1 ReplyImagine if you did something productive with all that negative energy.......

1 ReplyRemember the vex offensive. That is all.

1 ReplyPerhaps your own expectations were set too high. I imagine Bungie figured it would have taken the community longer to unravel the puzzle than it did. People literally stayed up hours on end to drastically accelerate the process. They introduced a new form of content that truly had the community excited about things. Some were disappointed with the reward, sure. Speculation built things up so much. People complain that there needs to be new exotics. Get them, then say they suck. They then want old exotics back only to likely complain about Bungie not being creative enough to come up with new ideas. How are they supposed to win ? With new consoles having better capabilities, this experiment could yield new and fresh things moving forward. I think this makes for an exciting future. I just hope that PvP sees a little love soon. There is simply no pleasing everyone all of the time.

2 RepliesDid you listen to the dialogue? It’s a time travel area, we traveled to a future date.

23 RepliesLuke Smith - we want you to have “you had to be there moments” Community - I was there when the community got absolutely screwed by bungie with the bastion quest Luke Smith - player numbers were increased, streamer subs increased. I am the greatest dev lead ever!

Best line I’ve heard to describe bungie also applies to this event - Bungie: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. 🤦♂️
-
1 ReplySpot on with the Ryan Johnson comparison... that guy sucks, cannot say it enough.
-
2 RepliesYOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DESTROY THE EXPECTATIONS NOT BECOME THEM!! you were my brother Bungie, I loved you!

1 ReplyBut then took an arrow to the knee ?..
-
It's "marketing" from Bungie. Stingy 'stards.

not only was this a sword on the grave, saint14 explicitley said it was OUR weapon that we used in the fight when we fell and he is telling everyone off apart from US, we were supposed to pick it up and join him on the fight against whatever killed US.. and its definitely a sword with the crystal from Oryx sword, that we made .. (like we did raze lighter and dark drinker etc..) so my best guess is that bungie was playtesting this sword and noticed a fairly big exploit/bug it was too op.. and replaced it with that bastion quest line.. which already felt like a HUGE disconnect between the corridors part and the "go hunt a fallen" quest which had not a single mention of that huge, gigantic effort we put into the corridors of time.. so i guess thats the zombie we got in the end since the real reward was somehow not salvageable.
