New Char. To max level
Is there a way to create a character, but skip all the content and go straight into the latest season? I understand the character would be under the light level, but if at all possible, I would prefer not going through Forsaken, etc., just to reach today's season. Thanks,

To add to what Dante already said, the Shadowkeep campaign should bring you up to at least 860 Power by the time you complete the final story mission, but you can get to that point just by playing Strike/Crucible/Gambit playlist activities or any other source of loot.

You do not have to play any of the story content if you don’t want to. However, you’ll be making it harder on yourself by not using the story to level yourself up. A lot of the content requires you to be at least 850 light. So it would probably be a good idea to go through some of the story.
