Youre welcome, now buy the ornament! Thats the real reason the quest was so easy and short. More players have it = more to buy ornament.

I would’ve liked more of an actual mission, but this is definitely better than a grindy quest

I didn't mind it at all. I've got limited time to play the game, so this is perfect for me. I loved the banter between Shaxx and Saint-14. That's was hilarious.

7 RepliesMore of this exotic quest, seriously. I understand that some players like som grind, but they can put extra quest steps easily... Just make own goal before you will start use new weapon. Kill 500 enemies with sidearm inside strike or Kill 200 guardians in comp with sidearm while aribone Do you need more challenge? Finish Pit of Heresy solo while using only sidearms or In fireteam of two beat Riven while using only sidearms... It is just few possibilites, you can make anything you want. Those who do not like play game like Bungie dictates, do not need that steps which they are not entertailing for them.

I agree it’s better than a huge chain of killing crap we always kill. But this mission sucked. Destiny doesn’t understand we expect content with these seasons. Well actually they either don’t understand or don’t care because they only care about doing as little as possible for as much money as possible.

1 ReplyI don’t always hate a grindy quest, but this was a humorous bit of fresh air. Some levity, and it felt more like a gift from the game. If they all become like this we have a problem, but they don’t all have to be an arduous grind followed by a hard version of a nightfall strike.

It was a breath of fresh air. I’d prefer a new story mission over having to do a bunch of quest steps like kill so many “enemies with x”. In the future I hope to see some exotics obtained like devils run and some obtained with the usual quest steps. I think it will be a good way to prevent burnout while still giving us the grind many enjoy

It should have been a quest like outbreak prime with a normal and heroic mode or something like that. Everybody got the new sidearm in a matter of minutes now... My god Bungie you are catering towards the pve n00bs...

This quest takes 10 minutes ans takes place on a crucible map we have used before for the same thing. :( yes the dialogue is great and the gun is actually really cool and I like it. But, Why does it have to be 10 minutes? Everyone is saying they like it because it doesnt take 8 years to get 10000 kills with a sidearm and yes. I agree no one wants to do that. But I think we can all agree that this 10 minute quest was too short and not creative in any way excluding the dialogue.
