No grinding. Tons of dialogue. Unique and powerful loot? This is a great example for what future quests should be like. In the future though, I would like to see a little bit more grinding, but I think this is a great example of a good exotic quest for now.

1 ReplyWhat quest? It felt like doing a bounty.
-
No lol. That was a complete joke. Exotic quests should be an endeavor. Not every quest has to be 500 void kills like D1 Thorn, but this was way too far in the other direction.
-
2 RepliesIt took 10 minutes!!? You're actually good at the game. I really don't see why you think this was anything other than uninteresting.
-
More dialogue than gameplay. If that’s what you want watch a movie. It’s a looter shooter, in this case with no shooting. It’s very disappointing from a gameplay perspective.

Edited by Speaker: 1/8/2020 2:29:37 PMI thought the quest was really dumb, and the gun isn't that great. The dialogue was interesting but what a lame quest.
-
the quest would be even better if the gun was just sent to me in the mail
-
Thought it was pretty boring myself

Edited by TronMPC: 1/8/2020 5:18:22 PMIt's the epitome of how stale the game is right now. Anyone who honestly thinks that was a good quest for the franchise has no idea what this game is. The quest was a pure and blatant show of laziness and lack of creativity. Boring and recycled... I love what this game has been at it's greatest, but it's current state is extremely far from even being good. Stale quests and recycled content=boring. Edit: I'll add that I did appreciate the audio content at the end of the wanna be quest.

1 ReplyAre you serious? I don't think all exotic quests should be this easy. Literally didn't have to shoot anything.
-
See I kept expecting us to gather the parts and as we made our way out of twilight gap, the fallen would appear and attack us and we had to use Devils ruin to fight our way out. As we fight the 'boss' of the fallen, he drops a vex component.
-
I personally dont like that the two new exotics are just handed out for nothing this season. I respect your opinion but it makes the gun feel like it loses its meaning.
-
5 Repliesthe quest was a joke, run sun dial find a few robots here's your exotic.when i got the exotic my 1st thought was ,is that it sh## bungie is just getting lazy now lol
-
Personally for me it sucked.they may as well just hand out exotics when you turn your system on.no grind needed anymore for exotics or ritual weapons.game is becoming a easy repetitive joke
-
2 RepliesIt’s terrible. It’s not even a quest. They should just put it in you postmaster.
-
It's the laziest PoS quest Bungie have released. The whole twilight gap map for the quest is a lazy reskin from Destiny's TTK Not Forged in light quest, except at least then you could die while searching for the chest.
-
1 ReplyIf the dialog is the only redeeming aspect, that places this exotic “quest” pretty low on the totem pole...
-
Malfeasance, The Last Word... perfect quests. This..? I dunno. All I can say is thanks for the sidearm I guess.
-
Totally lame. People with their hand out waiting for bungie to give them an exotic for nothing. Total welfare state. Exotics should be earned not passed out like food stamps
-
I thought it was extremely weak and lacked any kind of creativity.
-
2 RepliesTo call it a “quest” Is a huge understatement and insult to the word
-
1 ReplyYou should quit playing destiny dude if you want everything without doing jack shit...
-
Would’ve liked a couple enemies in twilight gap or something but I prefer this to grinding
-
I'd say this one dipped a bit to far on the easy side. It would've been nice to have something to shoot at while we're in Twilight Gap, especially after we get the gun. More exotic quests with special missions instead of grindy checklists, yes please.
-
1 ReplyI kept waiting for enemies to drop in
-
It’s a unique quest for sure. Honestly I like it when quests differ from one another and mix things up.

3 RepliesI'd like more of a story centric, mission based exotic quest. Let's say we find the frame in the sundial, and bring it to saint and he tells us of the battle of twilight gap. And the mission is more like the discovering of the new supers. We could have looted a robot and saw some cool stuff saint 14 did in that spot, giving story to why it looks like that, or something along those lines
