I’m at a point in my life where I can afford to buy pretty much whatever I want, so I get much more enjoyment out of giving rather than receiving. This year I upgraded my phone and passed down my old one to my son. It’s his first phone. We left it turned on and secretly called him as he was unwrapping it. Seeing his eyes get huge as he realized what was happening was my favorite moment since the first time I handed him an Xbox controller.
