Why everyone here so negative and hateful about destiny?
Just relax and ENJOY the GAME for WHAT IT IS!! Sure d2 isn’t completely perfect but it’s just a fun addictive game. I will upvote any post on this forum that isn’t an over glorified unconstructive angry rant.

2 RepliesSix years and somehow bungie hasn't learned a thing. People are negative because they've spent six years and several hundred dollars on this franchise. And bungie is still making every mistake they possibly could and learning nothing.

You still get some great people, of course. I tend to avoid the forums where possible. r/lowsodiumdestiny is a great sub and much less hostile.

If you really love or care about something you'd want it to be the best it can possibly be and that means criticizing it no matter how hard it is as well as complementing it so that the great things are repeated and aren't abandoned. This entire content drop has been abysmal compared to what we've been used to. Been a player since TTK. The game just no longer feels the same. Boring campaign missions, only one new meh crucible map, boring strikes, semi interesting raid, absolutely abysmal quest design, boring grind, no imagination with exotics, reskins of enemies, maps, weapons, armour, no new vendor refreshes, terribly designed armour sets, boring perks, heavy focus on Eververse, the entire bright dust economy, the crazy prices for Eververse stuff, the entire ammo economy, dominating weapons and armour not being changed for over a year, underused things remaining underused, the entire season pass thing, Vex Offensive, terrible PvP situation minus solo survival, no trials, no pinnacles. List goes on. Yet we'll all return for the next season with Bungie hoping we spend $€£ on Eververse. In the end that's all Bungie care about. Is this all because of Year 1 content being free with New Light or because of the split with Activision? The latter would have seen Bungie making a small amount of quality content instead of the big amounts of trash content we've been getting.

Most people here have seen what Destiny [i]could[/i] be, and [i]has [/i]been. They're putting the pressure on Bungie to bring this game back to the great product that it used to be. It's players like you, who obediently lap up everything they put out, and lavish them in endearing praise, and believe that they can do no wrong, who are damaging this game. Someone needs to put Bungie back on the right track...

They are dissatisfied with the game in its current form. A lot of players are veterans to the franchise who have seen the history of the franchise and are dissatisfied with what is currently being offered.

7 RepliesI like playing Destiny, but when it gets tiresome, I play something else for awhile. I've been doing it since D1, and sometimes my breaks are a year plus. I always come back at some point, because I do like the art style, the shooting and movements, the space magic, and I still have hopes that they can make this game even better. I will say, this community is very passionate about this game, and I understand the salt at times.

There is A LOT more right with this game than wrong. The hate:ers agree, or they would not keep playing. Destiny just got a highly toxic and vocal subgroup of players that think its productive to be toxic. They are wrong ofcourse. There are much better ways to get your point across, but its harder, so hate it is for them.
