I've never been closer to legend than this season. I'm thinking of going for it. I cracked 3200 when before I never got past 2300.

It's not worth the stress really. I should have mine tomorrow. It wouldn't be bad if the matches played fairly. By that I mean, the connections to the enemy player was better. I'd say 80 to 90% of the matches are lost are due to shitty connections and players not taking damage like they should. The 10% legit stomped me and my team of idiots. We really shouldn't lose points for losing a match. I was on a 6 or 7 win streak, was one game away from earning my NF and 10 seconds in, my teammate leaves the match. A match or two later, it happens again. So instead of being one game away, I went back down to 4800 to then spend a good 5 or 6 hours getting back to 5388. It's one of the dumbest, most bullshit experiences I've had in a video game. Matchmaking is bullshit, once people hit 5500, they should be onto another tier. I played on my other account yesterday, it had 180 glory on it. The solos I faced were all 4000 and 5500 players. Some, legit pvp nerds. You guys would say gods, but losers really with nothing better to do with their life than play all day. The problem with this is, potential new players will leave the game once this happens to them. My account was new, fresh. I didn't have any good weapons really, nor gear to face these people. I shouldn't face them, period. It's like going to play basketball for fun and the best mvp shows up and stuffs all your shots than t-bags you over and over. Imagine if thats how real life was. -blam!- that, and -blam!- bungie for making something like this.

Y3 comp isn't comp anymore.

Currently sitting at Mythic 3 and the problem is............. Match making, not opponents but team mates. I'm not sure how match making really works but at 4500 my team mates started playing like they have never played PVP before. I have been to 4900 three times now either at the top or the middle of the leader board most of the time. There is something going on at 4500 because on the way up people on my team played at my level then the wheels fell off. Yes, yes a good sniper can be scary but a blinking Warlock with Le Monarch and a hand held super nova is a terror to be seen....and a very good sniper killer.

Ok, here me out on this, don't comment nasty stuff until I said my piece, deal? Deal! I did in fact win trade to get to legend, I know, it's scummy. But we weren't using vpn or hurting other players in any way, just had one guy get 2 teams that resembled the same amount of glory, had 2 consoles and matched himself. I never used kill lobbies (excluding MT but who cares). And I never queued for comp after I hit legend that season. No harm to others, mkay? I got NF this way, BUT I DO NOT PLAN TO USE IT. I will continue to use lunas until I reach legend legit. (I got my fabled pinnacles legit) Why did I get NF then? As a trophy weapon, just to clean out my pursuits tab (I'm one of those people) without abandoning it. I consider this not to be cheating. and I have mad respect for those who get legend legit (seriously, you guys are insane.)

So nothing different then normal PvP at the moment? Played a team of 6 unbrokens. Still don't get it. Why does someone who never got to 5,500 in any season needs to play players who have and even have unbroken titles? Why do they keep resetting the points and why is there a 5,500 cap on the points? This makes this game mode so frustrating and annoying and unfair.

Coming from an unbroken, a good sniper is maybe the single most scary thing a team can have. I LFG'd my way to my last legend, and while I struggle fighting good snipers, some people absolutely lose it against a Chris Kyle. Shotgunners are boring/predictable, Erentil is Erentil, but a sniper will keep you scared to challenge.

Here’s my experience: Went 2000-5500 in 3-4 hours with roughly 20 games and 2-3 total losses. I carried every team by double the kills of my two teammates every single game. Now I’m working on getting the Luna’s howl kills, and I hate this gun, and even though I’m still carrying I can’t make the normal plays I do and my teammates have thrown 10 games in a row. Most recent match after we were down 2-0, I had 12 kills and both teammates had 1 kill, probably an assist, a piece

I've made it to 5000 twice just to drop down to 3900...

Is it still 500 kills with luna?, or did they change with gamemode change?
