Hope my reports are successful he was teleporting from spawn to the other team and killing them have reported in-game but jeez.

5 RepliesYeah I'm sure Bungie will take as long to address this as they took to address Clay
-
4 RepliesBungie seems to take little or no action against hackers in most cases.

1 ReplyEdited by jonpall: 10/27/2019 3:38:51 PMI matched one too the other day. Guy has been cheating in comp non stop since new light, only times he’s lost is when he’s been ddossed which is honestly very well deserved. But hey, it’s bungie, they probably won’t even acknowledge it until christmas.

5 RepliesIf you can, record video of the cheating and use the report form from Bungie.net. This asks for post game carnage report (you can get from destiny tracker or guardian.gg) and allows you to link a video( I save videos from Xbox app to my phone then upload to YouTube). This way bungie has the most information to make a decision and helps you case for the ban. I had a two man in comp last season teleporting everywhere and did all I stated above and noticed those individuals did not touch comp for a couple of months. Whether that was from my msg on Xbox or a ban I don’t know but I did get a response from bungie about the information I gave and saw my video was viewed a couple of times. It seems to be the best way to bring attention to cheaters imo

Reporting in this game is a cosmetic thing to make players feel that they can do something about cheaters. I think all these reports are not even registered in the database. Problem probably is that Bungie is not using dedicated servers. A lot of players have bad internet and there is just no better internet where they live causing issues for everybody in the game. And a few actually cheat mostly to still get the Not Forgotten or just to be annoying.
-
Bungie probably won't address it, because then that would be admitting that they have a problem... and that is bad for business or something.
-
Clay laughs at bungie
-
1 ReplyJust don’t mention them by name. Cuz Bungie will punish you more than they’ll punish the cheater for shaming him. What a joke these ninjas are. This is just as bad as politics. Banning all the cheaters and name shaming them would hurt how much money they bring in so while Bungie will not condone it, they won’t get rid of these cheaters either

It’s been happening a lot because of the free to play.
-
That's the problem that goes hand in hand with ftp. Saw a video of a hacker teleporting to people and punching them to death.
-
Yep, just had my first experience in freelance comp. We can just hope that Bungie is actively looking to address this if they are serious about PvP.
-
7 RepliesThis is a huge pc problem that is completely ignored by Bungie. Originally, when Bungie were on blizzards servers, blizzard had anti cheat enabled and it instantly banned a tonne of well known youtubers as well as anyone running background software known to affect network traffic. Bungie quickly disabled these systems. Can't have it exposed that some of your finest tubers are running crap that is making them (knowingly or otherwise) lag switching gods now can we.

Edited by Ubisuccle: 10/27/2019 3:21:11 PMThis is what bungie gets for making the game F2P and giving people unrestricted access to all game modes. They shoulda made people grind the campaign and to 750 before accessing comp. take a page from CS:GO in that respect

2 RepliesA saw a dog turd on the pavement on my way to work the other day, it was disgusting too.

Welcome. They've been waiting.

3 RepliesThere are a huge(!) amount of reports in the forums for this specific hack. That, and unending lives in survival. And more happens outside of what’s posted. So there’s a lot of PC security issues going on right now. There are YouTube videos of players losing all control of their accounts WHILE they are online and watch someone else play their toon while logged in. There must be some sort of program that’s being sold to players for the teleporting. Because of how many people are doing it.

Not to mention ddos and manip. It's been horrible since it moved. I was hoping VAC would be implemented in some way, guess not.
