Nightfall matchmaking!! C’mon, it’s time.
Title sums it up. These are dark times my fellow gamers. People have left in droves, core gamers remain but clans are in disarray and people are not returning in the same numbers.
There should be match making for nearly every activity, should players need it.
Bungie, please make me want to continue to support your product.

No. Just yesterday we got to the boss in nightfall and two players who were friends left. Wasted time. Normal mode sure. The other one to get 100k and over ummm no.

I would like to see a nightfall with matchmaking [b]but[/b] you can't use the challenge card if you decide to matchmake. This would help people who want to just quickly do the nightfall and get the reward. If you want to use the card and go for highscores you need to have a fireteam of 3 or possibly select a "firewalled nightfall" if you want to solo or duo it. Solo and duo option is still a must!!!

Eff that, make nightfalls more difficult. Like an actual endgame activity, and let it give out better rewards as compensation. Like 10 cores, plus a higher chance at an exotic and the strike specific loot, and the powerful weekly drop. Imagine that popping out of the chest. Or at least have a heroic version where enemies are just tougher with bullshit modifiers and no five of swords , with the rewards listed above. Then add matchmaking to the non heroic pansy version we have now.

3 RepliesPlacing matchmaking with nightfalls doesn’t seem ideal. For one it would lock your equipment and then whose nightfall card would it consider? What if you weren’t running the weapons for their card? Also some players might want to go for 100k while others just want the nightfall completion. Matchmaking wouldn’t work with the current nightfall system

they arent even something extremely difficult like raids, where coordination and communication shine through almost as much as actual skill in a fight. I spent around 4 years just setting up with 2 randoms when I wanted to do a nightfall and I dont think I encountered anyone who ever spoke that whole time. it just isnt hard enough to make us get our own teams.

1 ReplyAmen. Nightfalls are no longer considered endgame content at this point. Just add matchmaking. Atthis point not having matchmaking is holding me back because I refuse to create a fireteam on bungie app. Its just too much of a pain in the ass when I cant even send their invites. Just please add matchmaking.

After returning to the game for this Dlc I tried the nightfall and thought I'd post on this app to get a group annndd yeah... Nobody responded or even posted to do it. What's going on with the nightfall that No1 does it anymore?

I must sadly disagree Only if a player makes a lobby with his card and others choose to join then yes, but that's a bad system... Or random card for each lobby with the burn given.. Its kinda hard to implement Just solo them 😅

3 RepliesI mean you can post in the fireteam and get two random people. Atleast you know they'll participate. I let my 5 year old play whatever. I'm 99.6 percent positive you don't want him matchmaking with you 😂

4 RepliesYes - two games later and requests out the arse to do it. I beat tier three reckonings with randoms. I’m sure nightfall’s would be zero difference. Match game? Probably not without coordination...... But without that mod? Easy.

2 RepliesI see why you want this but I won't rly work because of how it's made. What if you que up and you get in to a speed run lobby but you want a highscore lobby I think you get the point it doesn't work due to it being to comestible unless you want a pre set type made by bungie that changes every week or day. So just use LFG where you can get players fairly quickly and you can discuses what kind of run you want.

7 RepliesI wish I could just farm nightfalls until someone leaves and they pop someone new in there and keep trucking. Use lfg and once someone gets what they want they typically leave. Then you have to lfg again at the cost of a random with you stuck waiting too. Rather just have them get filled in.

Totally agree, anyone should be able to do it. However they should only allow player 10 under of set difficulty. There should be a list of available games showing so you can pick the game. Not matchmaking but a roster select system.
