So we know where most if the focus was, there was supposed to be a mix of gear for silver and dust, it's almost all silver.
Bungie that's pretty disgusting.

"The best of year one" YOU SERIOUS? I've already got all that shit. Give me new stuff
-
5 RepliesEdited by cycofreak3: 6/4/2019 10:15:44 PM*Queue everyone defending the action because they're self publishing now* In all seriousness, so many of us -blam!-ing told you so... To the people who still defend Bungie's actions, you're part of the problem, a bigger part than Bungie is. You're enabling them, they're all too willing to use you as an excuse.
-
Best of year one engrams currently equate to a couple pieces of gear from warmind, almost all the ships and sparrows from curse of Osiris, and basically everything else is before there were dlcs. I want the salty emote just because it describes how I feel towards the “New” Eververse. If anything it feels like Bungie took inspiration from anthem’s crap show of a “featured store” which rotates the same items at enormously high prices while also not being no feasible way of earning them in game at all. It’s disappointing to see destiny 2 following in the footsteps of a nearly dead game.
-
Get lost you act like you're buying a new lambo.. Its cheap. You're complaining about new and fresh content? Go grind for the new gear and enjoy the new events. Or go play apex legends

“Best of year one” engram?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ca9GuwuOVZc
I think it's better. Previously, if you wanted to spend silver to get cosmetics you had to gamble on engrams (with the exception of a select number of ornaments). Now you can buy the items directly and get exactly what you wanted. The bright dust is still there and works exactly the same way as it did before. Dont forget Eververse is and has always been, a microtransactions store designed to make extra money.
-
Well the silver stuff is up front The regular gear is a page down Don’t forget they reskin old gear but it’s not quite the same so if you want old gear there is a lot of it now
-
2 RepliesAs long as the items arent locked behind silver and rotate weekly so you can buy each item with brightdust eventually then i dont care, what angers me about the change is the fact that the new eververse engrams are CCOMPLETELY useless to anyone whos already collected all year 1 items. I being one of them. Essentially every single eververse engram im going to receive for the next 3 months will be nothing but brightdust... Wow Bungie. Just wow. -blam!- over the diehard players once again... Smart.
-
Not to mention that it was the only worthwhile thing with this dlc/expansion. 🙄
-
11 RepliesItems rotate. Don’t like? Don’t buy.
-
15 RepliesIs Bungie forcing you to buy from Eververse? The answer is no.
-
2 RepliesNot defending them but they have no choice they lost all funding 100’s of millions from activision and a lot of resources so they have no choice but to peddle cosmetics like Avon of gaming lmao
-
1 ReplyEverything is supposed to be available for bright dust at some point. Silver is for if you’re really impatient.
-
7 RepliesI don’t understand why people get so upset over micro transactions. If anything we should be encouraging more so that Bungie would move away from the pay for game/dlc model. I would do a jig if D3 was free to play with a heavy reliance on micro transactions for cosmetic items( similar to FN). The beauty of micro transactions is that if you don’t want to buy them you don’t have to.

12 RepliesThey're self published now and need to make up for no publisher backing them. Do we all forget this or what? It's direct purchase, no loot boxes, doesn't offer an edge over other players, all cosmetics are still able to be bought via bright dust when in rotation, I haven't seen any price jack ups from normal, and they need to fund future content and pay their workers. They're still a business. Granted I wish they did an engram with this stuff instead of a year 1 re hash but at the end of the day they're a business with a lot of employees to pay. They didn't bamboozle us. They gave us a heads up of the change a few weeks ago. Until Luke Smith his self holds us all at gun point demanding us to buy shit from the store I don't see an issue over their monetization method as it's not pay to win.
-
Ok and? Don’t buy a dance move then

1 ReplyThey’re Cosmetics

Edited by jokefacekillah3: 6/5/2019 7:54:48 PMJust dont buy anything then. I dont get why everyone is so mad. It is there as an "optional" purchase. If it makes you this angry then avoid Eververse. Problem solved. Do you all need something to be mad about at all times with this game and bungie?
-
To be honest, Eververse is just getting worse and worse. I had no issue with how Eververse was when Warmind was released where you can use a item to get a weekly loot from eververse without too much grind or paying cash. Season of the drifter made it a bit worse as Bungie included silver exclusive ornaments / emotes / ships, etc. And now it feels like nearly everything is behind a paywall and we're only being given year 1 loots. (Which is good but I mean, I pretty much got nearly all the Year 1 exotic goodies. so it's just nothing but a bright dust grinder) As much as people say "Oh it's just cosmetics only / It's no game changer / blah blah, don't buy it then" The issue I think people have is that in a game exactly like destiny, the main thing is to get all the loot and to customize your character to your choosing and so players will pretty much want their hands on some if not all the appealing stuff in the eververse for fashion. The big issue is though is that Destiny is NOT a free to play, yet Bungie charges about $6 per item (12 for bundles) which with the big amount of new items in the newest update. will cost a big load of cash to get them all. (You can wait a week for the rotate but with how expensive certain items are, I doubt you'll be able to get them all in the entire season without spending some cash) Buy hey, It's just my opinion....A GAME OPINION, Thanks for reading.

Edited by OwO: 6/5/2019 4:31:01 PM65$ for ornaments? LOL NOPE. Edit: forgot the raid ornament, whoops. 70$ for ornaments? OH HELL NOPE
-
They jacked up the prices of all the Bright Dust purchases, so much so that its not even worth it anymore. Trying to force people to buy with Silver, I see what you did there Bungo.
-
Almost all my clanmates are praising these changes except me. -blam!- this bullshit design. Greedy ass mofos. You can tell the intent from just looking at how they designed the store ui. All bright dust stuff is tiny af while the silver related items are -blam!-ing HUGE!!!
-
10 RepliesThis season should be called Season of Eververse...
-
1 ReplyThe armor sets looks like shit.
-
Looks like a copy of division 2's cosmetic screens. Just pointing that out.... Even bungies cosmetic vendor is a reskin. Smh
