I really liked it! I actually enjoyed it more than endgame. Brie’s acting is a little wooden, but it’s not that big a deal. Fury was great, the Skrulls were cool and I liked the Easter eggs. All together it was a fantastic movie. I don’t know why people didn’t like it.
Spoilers below.
I didn’t like how Fury lost his eye to a cat, that was lame. I liked how he got the idea for the name of the avengers from Carols nickname. I absolutely LOVED the twist with the Skrulls being the good guys. That was neat, and unexpected. Jude Law’s character was cool. I’m a big fan of his.
I liked it, but
Im super confused how the tesseract AKA the space stone , gave her those powers. It doesn’t make any sense. Other than that it was ok
Watching it now

While I enjoyed the movie, honestly, this video perfectly sums up how I feel about it.

11 RepliesI think people don't like with how much it pushes for feminism and that infamous deleted scene.

I saw it this weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was more of a plot device than a character in End Game. But in her own movie, she was actually a very interesting character blend of toughness, recklessness and humor. The scene where she demands that Fury hand over his pager because he can't be trusted with it is pretty funny. The movie did a good job of laying the foundation for growing her character in later movies, and portraying Carol Danvers as something of a female Tony Stark.

1 ReplyScarlet Witch > Captain Marvel.
-
1 ReplyCareful, mentioning Captain Marvel or Brie Larson and NOT condemning one or both to heck is frowned upon in these parts
-
16 RepliesJust replace Brie Larson and I’ll watch the movie

2 RepliesYo HOL UP. Haven't you been talking MAD shit about the movie and the actress for WEEKS?! AND YOU HADN'T EVEN SEEN IT YET?!
-
6 RepliesAt least she gave us a meme. Thank you whoever gave her those blue pants.
-
6 RepliesThat film is weaker than Thor Dark World. Just opinions but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Spoiler ahead.
Nick fury lost his eye to a cat?!
Still haven’t seen it. All I know is that her acting in Endgame was a bit dry and that she came off really egotistical in that interview

21 RepliesEdited by Ricochet 049: 6/2/2019 9:34:39 AMIt was an incredible hour and a half of shear meh. It was just a bunch of flashy lights, and annoying girl power propaganda. The movie wasn’t bad, and didn’t insult me like last Jedi did. But last Jedi while having a OP female lead didn’t attribute Rey’s power to what’s in her pants. Powerful and Oppressed. Such a strange thing to want both.

I liked some parts of the movie, but I didn’t enjoy Captain Marvel herself, she just seemed like an unemotional rock even when there was a scene meant to have lots of emotion. I dunno, she just seemed stiff.

I personally wasn't a fan of the movie, but that's just me and you like what you want. I just found it to be lazy and slightly political and overall meh, but other than that it was a decent movie. Other people can enjoy it, and I don't hate them for it nor feel the need to argue with them about it.

4 RepliesI didn't think it was a bad movie, I just didn't feel it was great either. Felt pretty middling in terms of Marvel movies to me.

I didn’t bother to watch it. I hunt need to watch Honest trailers version of it and I get the plot.

... I just thought it was a raging dumpster fire, Shazam was much better, and didn't totally fuck up the character...
not included in the DLC

i always thought he lost it from grenade shrapnel but I guess that’s just a rumor he spread
I enjoyed the movie as well.
