Bungo we want more strikes, crucible maps, story missions not reskins of exotics
-
Bungie keeps giving us half of the game. They need to give us story missions, strikes and maps like year one, and also give us stuff like forsaken and the annual pass. They need to find a balance instead of just going purely to campaign and maps or purely to weapons and events.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 6/1/2019 6:24:47 AMTo be fair, I’ve repeat played more of the Annual Pass, than I’ve ever done over the Osiris/Warmind DLC (although of the two Y1 DLC’s, I preferred Warmind & EP, data fragments, quests etc, not the short rehashed story mode) but there’s not a chance I’m running the Y1/Forsaken Strike/Public Event/PvP map content again for another year There has to be another Comet expansion with brand new story, adventures, Raids, strikes, truly lost sectors & PvP maps And if there’s another annual pass, it sure needs a polish/fresh eyes to make sure that it’s built much better than the 1st effort, better incorporated, less fractured, more rewarding if the actual loot (in each seasonal section, not blues & sharded gear) And an absolute refresh of all vendors, all EP/Reckoning/Blind Well type areas, & a return fur D1 style Factions I don’t mind spending money - but it needs to be the right content! And for the love of all things good, remove enhancement cores from infusion ....they should be renamed Masterwork ....let them be used to re-roll the weapon/gear MW, change armour class to Mobility/Heavy etc

1 ReplyIt’s because the annual pass lacked these that I never got it in the end. If they said the annual pass would have these then You could be sure I’d buy it. All the things they have added in the pass are more or less what you get with a dlc, forge and reckoning remind me of EP in warmind dlc. But the again warmind also had story and strikes which is my kind of thing. Going forward if bungie give details of next pass (you know there is one) and it’s just the same as what we’ve had with this years pass, well I’ll just not pay for it yet again and move on to something else.

Game stopped being fun long ago. I took like a 3 month break and came back for season of gambit, then I remembered why I left on the first place.. not giving it another chance. Just play this last one and move on.

11 RepliesRe-skin of exotics? They re-sold us Destiny 1 exotics since launch of Forsaken. no? You are worrying about the money we paid for annual pass? Think about Destiny 3, where they will take all our weapons and armor again and re-sell them to us. Not to mention, nerf them in the process!! #GoBungie seriously, WTF... :)

6 RepliesStrikes are for 10 year olds.

5 RepliesI actually liked the Annual Pass better than the other DLC content we've gotten in the past. I'm happy with what I got for $40. $40 is not a lot of money. Black Armory was great and I played it a lot. Season of the Drifter wasn't all that, but we knew that going in. I don't care about new crucible maps, we have plenty already and I don't play PvP that much. The map pool in D2 is much bigger than other shooters I play. I've been playing the same 5-10 Counter-Strike maps for seven years and I'm fine with them. I'd like to have story missions, provided Bungie wants to up their story-telling game (no-offense writing team), or they want to make more shattered throne like content. But we did get 2 raids. I like Scourge fine, not my favorite, but it's fun. Crown will probably be excellent as well. Destiny raids are like pizza, there's no such thing as bad pizza. Strikes are strikes, I like them because I can just veg out, throw on a podcast or whatever, and do a couple without thinking too much. We have a very large amount in D2, so it doesn't feel repetitive to me. I'd like that one strike that's a repeat of the story mission to be removed tbh. I'd welcome more but I'm not disappointed by them not adding more.

1 ReplyThis forum is full on loaded with crybabies. No strikes no pvp maps? I get it but I feel like that is more like a forsaken style dlc drop. Which is what I hope they will do next. The annual pass was good IMO but bungie does a great job. They even deal with everyone on here acting like goofballs......

They didn't say it would.
-
I was extremely disappointed with it. I got my money’s worth but don’t know if I’d get another.
-
All I can say is Classic WOW man.
-
I’d rather have new game modes than strikes that get boring after running it 3 times. Crucible maps, sure. And who is this “we” I don’t agree completely.

20 Repliesyou do know how the expansion works right its 3 packs of 10 dollars worth of content we have received quite a bit for every expansion thus far, each of them has had a form of narrative, both of the expansions that have came out not only came back with old favorites but also came out with some pretty good new exotics, those being LE Monarque, Jotuun and the Izanagis burden all of which are wonderful guns, Also there is the new exotic linear fusion rifle, the Arbalast that is literally a PEA SHOOTER and its amazing, got it as a random drop a few days after the revelry ended. I do like them getaway artists, makes pvp even more hilarious when our just walking around and waste a sweat jumping around with nf and they just get splattered against a wall, we also got three new endgame activities, being the forges, gambit prime and the reckoning as well as gambit private matches. Not to mention a new raid that is actually fun to play with rewards that are pretty amazing. Strikes, crucible maps and story missions are not endgame, while they can be fun they are mid game stuff with story missions being the "early game" These things are bound to come in the next actual 40 dollar expansion, and if they spend the next year bringing back trials and factions, im all for another annual pass. so long as they put more effort into the rewards and less into the eververse the are good PS do not use the word WE, as you do not speak for the entirety of the community, just say I would like to see these things happen because the last 3 expansions have given us loads of endgame multiplayer content. at least for pve, crucible needs some attention.

1 ReplyIt seems pretty good value to me, each season cost about £10, had plenty to do and some cool new weapons and armour. Don't get me wrong I'd like the odd strike and mission thrown in here or there but if take what we have over the horrific content draughts of destiny 1. I've said it before, destiny 1 was not as good as the forums like to make out, in fact it was pretty dull for the vast majority of it's time.

1 ReplyI disagree pretty much totally. Strikes get boring after you play a couple times. Story missions are one and done. Can't even bring myself to run forsaken on my third character. Fun the first time. Horrible the second time. I could see a few larger crucible maps , but overall could care less. Do the same thing on every map, kill your opponents. Reskins, whatever , don't use 80% of what guns drop, so don't really care what they look like. Exotics, I want all D1 exotics to come back. There are some good exotics still in that loot poll. I am tired of all the hand cannons,I want them but how bout some other stuff.

4 RepliesAlready have my $$$ set aside for the next chapter of Destiny 2 🤑
-
No no strikes? Sounds like a strike where the big bad trys to touch guardians in their special no no places
-
Crybaby
-
I commented already, but what if this next pass we sale you has only D1 strikes and PvP mini maps? Would the sweet low price of $30 be good?
-
25 RepliesEach season was 13 bucks. We got 2 Raids, and a bunch more endgame to grind. I'll purchase another one. Think about the year of zero content on D1, you had that option.
-
I didnt buy the annual pass only forsaken but the annual pass brought more content already than any other updates destiny did. We’d basically wait a whole year for new dlc/expansion.
-
Whats a no no Strike? I do miss the D1 updates when we got new crucible maps, new strikes, it would be nice if that happened once again. Maybe the summer will bring all that back.
-
12 RepliesEdited by Mpire4: 5/31/2019 2:54:04 PMBut then again. It gave us more content than D1 year two. All we got was a boring doubles variant of elimination, a reskinned prison of elders, and a strike that reused old areas. We've gotten way more in D2 year two, even without the annual pass. It's not the most preferable option, but it's still more than nothing.
Edit: To be honest though, they should have made Annual Pass free with Forsaken.
*Buys Annual Pass. Pass gives exactly what it promises it would. Doesn’t give things it never said it would give. Complains.* OP are you okay? Like.. in general?
-
8 RepliesI said this somewhere else, but, really, if you want Bungie to listen to you, stop calling them stupid ass names like Bungo and Scumgie. It makes you sound twelve. Actually a twelve year old might do better at inventing names for them. And yeah, the Annual Pass gave you precisely what it said it would. Good job on noticing it.

All true but the gameplay loop is 1000 times better with this layout strikes and crucible for most are just a milestone and you have 0 reason to play them after hitting max level. Far as exotics go 2/3 are brand new and I am fine with that it gives people who never played the first game a chance to use some of the most iconic weapons in the series. I will 100% buy another annual pass
