Annual Pass gave us no no strikes , crucible maps or story mission think about that before Bungie pitches another Pass to you
Bungo we want more strikes, crucible maps, story missions not reskins of exotics

The problem with it is Bungie, for not adding the loot to go with the game that should have been added to the vendors, strikes, crucible, raids, patrol, nightfall, Blind Well, IB, etc... See, D1 had fewer activities in the game but the activities were never what kept the player base coming back. It was how the in-game content was designed throughout the entire game that kept gamers coming back. Think about this for a moment. D1 raids have a normal/hard mode giving both "Hardcore gamers" and "casual gamers" an opportunity and for some that much more loot to chase because how much both mods offered. They also have full raid gear/weapon sets. Factions were not removed to sell a year or more as a carrot. They were there 24-7 and updated every DLC giving them a fresh inventory, meaning more gear/weapons to chase. ROI, Archon's Forge has specific loot to chase, what doe Blind Well offer? IMO having more events is a good thing but they are not what this game needs. There is plenty to do in this game, but the problem is the lack of replayability and that is what is actually hurting the game. Bungie seriously needs to improve the in-game content and give it that replayability, the incentive D1 actually has.

That sucked, but I forgave it because the story was great and the PoE was fun(ish). Other DLCs had their faults. CoO was trash with a small tiny new playable area, but there were a couple of strikes and a Raid Lair at least. To me this Season Pass felt like a bit of bait and switch. I usually don't buy into the cynical anti-bungie stuff, but I do feel like I was taken on this one (and I don't mean by Oryx). I will buy the next major campaign installment, but to me this live team stuff is for the ultra dedicated hardcores. To me there was nothing worth spending money on in D2 other than the base game, the two DLCs and Forsaken. Weapons? What's the point? What is worth chasing anymore? All this quest based bullshit has gotten stale. Give me the random exotic from a strike boss. I'd play more if it wasn't "go here and kill fifty with a HC, go there and collect materials, then go there and wait for a random spawn that happens once in three hours." If this is the future, I will only buy the major releases. If Destiny goes subscription I will not be continuing. Give me the story I signed up for and I will open my wallet.

1 ReplyThe annual pass was designed for nothing more than the very casual 1-2 hour a week destiny player who is only looking to have some fun. It wasn't meant for anything like real gaming or exotic hunting. I'm very disappointed with the annual pass and found it very boring and lackluster.

Bungie never let players know what Each content drop would offer in terms of Guns , Armor, Story, Activities etc they just said, hey guys here's this new Annual Pass that you should buy cause it's made By us, dont ask too many questions ok??, just throw some $$$$at d screen and everything will be alright Ohh and they never gave us the option to purchase these """""DLCs""""" separately, cause they knew no1 would buy the other 2 after realizing Black Armory was Garbo

8 RepliesThis. This is why I quit playing March 9th. Grinding 12+ month old stuff to level up to play the $10 worth of new Content I paid for in the "Annual Cash Grab" pass is absolutely no fun. There are better games out there than Destiny, where I legitimately am enjoying myself and can play how I want and when I want.

It gave 1new raid, 3 new activities and a bunch of weapons and armor and exotics. And each DLC on there own was 10$.

We need expansion sized content with annual pass drop feeding Day what you want about the annual pass but you’ve got to admit that it gave people reasons to come back each week This worked with Forsaken with the Curse week as people wanted to see just what was going on and what new activities were unfolding If we can get more expansions like this in the future I’d be happy And yes I know players want to have everything Day 1 and just powerhouse through everything ,But why rush ? I’m aware some of you don’t have much time during the week but rushing through something doesn’t dampen the enjoyment out of it ,you’re constantly thinking “what’s next” before you’ve completed the activity as you’re overflowed with content Whereas some piece of the content is released your more likely to take your time with it and enjoy it at your own pace ,Plus when something gets added to the game people generally get excited play ,that being an activity ,patch or event

9 RepliesThat's why I gave up on this game when I heard there'd be no more story in all of 2019. I participated in the first 2 events but couldn't muster the strength to do this next one. I paid for the season pass but don't care at this point. The final nail in the coffin was the grand sweeping nerf to my gear. Bungie will never learn I'm afraid.

Why not move Cayde's Stash along with other bonus contents over to only Forsaken DLC? Annual Pass' prices are just the highway robbery.

Season of drifter was basically a gambit update attempting to fix normal gambit problems, nothing special there at least Black Armory had a "Raid" and the rest was basically throwing balls into a bucket to get Random rolls which we could basically do in D1 the cryptarch and some Strange coins and now season of Opulance will take us back to the leviathan cause apparently we haven't spent enough time on that ship, hopefully the new Raid will be enough to justify not having any new PvP maps, Strikes or some Fresh Iron banner Gear

6 RepliesIt did give us new raids, endgame activity, story and lore without the mission, new and old exotics, and new loot to chase all together. It was 30$ for 9 months of content. Rather than 20$ per DLC for each season like it would’ve been if not for the annual pass. So 60$ for 3 dlcs that’ll give you one off missions that you’ll never reply, strikes that you’ll grow bored of, and crucible maps for everyone to complain about? Or 30$ for the same timespan of content, giving you story and lore without the missions, giving you completely new gamemodes (Gambit prime) which btw came with 2 new maps, and a bunch more weapons to chase with consistent content planned and announced each time. It’s not bad, you’re just mad.

26 RepliesAnnual pass was like 20 or 30 dollars, if some people are that hard pressed for that amount to spend on an entire year of somewhat content( you can kinda call it that) well get off the forums and find a proper job.

This game had turned me into a casual with the flat, underwhelming content and the "planned" nerfs.
