ACROCANTHUS, Pure Vessel, Pyrus, Robo Owl, Bopsheezi sat on a boat heading to the Ruins of Orr. Pyrus and Robo Owl sat in the back fiddling with their weapons, while Bopsheezi and Vessel took turns throwing dark balls at each other. ACROCANTHUS was at the helm. “So Bop, can you explain exactly what the plan is?” Robo Owl asked. “Basically, we get in, blow this dragon up without dying, and then escape without getting killed. Easy,” Bopsheezi answered. “Acro, what intel do you have on this place?” Pyrus asked. “I had a drone do a quick fly-over before we left. It looks to be extremely well guarded. Zhaitan is in the center of the island, inside the ruins of Arah.” “Cool. Can you use the drone now to see what they’re doing before we get there?” Pyrus asked. “I can’t. The drone was shot down,” Acrocanthus said. “Oh...” A few hours later, Pure Vessel had taken over piloting. Everybody else was in a circle talking. “... And that’s how I got a marshmallow stuck up my nose,” Pyrus said as he finished his story. “Wow. Sounds painful,” Robo Owl said. “Well, I’m next. Let’s see here...” “Umm... guys?” Pure Vessel called from the bridge. “There was that one time I accidentally destroyed a whole forest...” Robo Owl began. “GUYS!!!” Pure Vessel screamed. “What is it?” Bopsheezi asked. “There’s something big on the radar. And it’s right below us.” “What! Let me see,” Acrocanthus said as he ran over to the monitor. “Um, I think it would be best if everybody got...” Just then, the whole ship shook as a massive wave came over the side, drenching everybody. “What was that?” Pyrus asked? “Wait, let me pull it up on the camera... Ah, here we go!” Acrocanthus said. “Whew, would you look at the size of that thing!” On the screen it showed a massive Risen shark. “I never thought I would see a megalodon, let alone a zombie one,” Bopsheezi said. “Unfortunately for the scientific community, this one is going to be destroyed,” Pyrus said as he picked up his gunblade. “Wait, don’t do anything yet! I’m going to activate the jets so it can’t reach us,” Acrocanthus said. “Wait, we can fly?” Robo Owl asked. “Why have we been sailing then?” “Umm...” Another massive jolt shook the ship. “Welp, scratch that,” Pure Vessel said. “The primary boosters just got destroyed.” “Okay, Bopsheezi and Pyrus, I need you to distract it while I try to get us out of here,” Acrocanthus said. “You got it,” Pyrus said, then ran to the railing looking for any sign of the beast. “Pure Vessel, see if you can get any of the other engines boosted enough to fly.” “Okay,” said Pure Vessel as he ran to the engineering room. Suddenly another massive blow rocked the ship. It began to turn sideways. Pyrus tumbled to the side and grabbed onto the railing, while Bopsheezi crashed against the engineering room. “Engines are ready!” Pure Vessel called. “Okay. Bop and Pyrus, how are you doing?” Acrocanthus asked. “Fine, I guess,” Pyrus said through gritted teeth as he struggled to get a grip. “Bop, how about you?” “I don’t think I can hold on much longer,” Bopsheezi gasped. He was holding on to a superheated steam vent, and it was slowly melting melting his new arm. “Just hang on a little longer!” Acrocanthus called. “I... don’t think I can. It’s been nice knowing you all,” as Bopsheezi’s fingers completely melted. He fell into the water, giving one last salute. “BOPSHEEZI!!” Pyrus yelled. “Pyrus, we can’t save him! We’re going now!” Acrocanthus told him. The ship floated into the air and began to fly toward the island in the distance. ... ... ... ...
