I always laugh when I see people say how easy certain things are, yet the things they are not good at they will keep to themselves acting as if they are better then as a human being because someone isn't good at something. (PvP gamers are the most toxic gamers there is in the gaming world and that is a fact no one can deny.) If you think I'm wrong? Go play CoD and use a mic and prove me wrong and that's just CoD I'm talking about, what about a lot of other games? I mean, even the kids on CoD have a mouth that If it was my child I'd smack that mouth and tell him to straighten up. Not everyone is good at everything but I do agree with practice some can become better with certain things, but there are also things in life that some people are not going to be good at and they have to except that. But you PvP gamers coming on this thread just because you are good at something others are not shows who the kids really are on this forum. "I'm an internet tough guy, see my chest puff, ROAR!..." Hey, here is an idea, instead of you people looking at the one thing you came in here for and that was to rag on someone. How about use your brain and look past the stupid crap and ask what this person is having a hard time with or why they don't like PvP etc... But I guess that would be too much to ask since your "KD" has more Cough, value. Edit: OP? Why don't you explain in a respectful way on why you don't like PvP and why you think you can't acquire whatever you are trying to acquire. Maybe someone can help you if there is someone willing to.

  • Yeah, in...
D1 where it belongs.
As far as acquiring it in D2 It won't be hard to get if I won't it. I don't have a problem running quest for PvP as long as it's not in Comp. Either way though I don't care for it. So no biggie to me.

  • I mean yeah in some cases this is all very true, but this quest step really is objectively easy for anyone. You don't even need a positive KA/D, you can complete the quest just from getting assists.

  • My thread wasn't about running crucible because if I wanted It I could get it. But, the one thing I don't like is knowing Bungie is bringing weapons back that are just catering to PvP gamers, better known as bait because how well known both LW and Thorn actually are. Yet things like Multi-tool need a buff that in D1 it worked across the entire board. In D2 it sits in the vault.

  • Slow clap to standing ovation...... But the sad fact is that most of these kids are underparented, and are looking for a video game to give them the sense of status and self-worth that should actually be provided for them by the adults in their life.....or the people who were the adults when they were kids if they're still doing this crap as adults. By comparison, my Dad---when I was showing up in local baseball box scores each week in high school with multi-hit games and home runs----said to me: "Never believe your press clippings. You're never as good---or as bad---as other people think you are." Even as a kid I realized that he was teaching me a lesson that was more important than baseball. Man if he were around to see what these kids are doing to each other...and how they're desperately trying to paint themselves as better people because they are good at a video game...... He'd have ripped the PlayStation out of the wall and broken it over a knee if he'd caught me acting like some of these kids when I was their age.

  • It’s not just video games. I see it in intramural sports at really young ages. A kid misses a shot in practice and has to deal with other kids calling him trash or garbage. I even hear kids saying git gud. It’s almost surreal. But then, we have to realize that this is the age of the troll, and it’s global. And the ONLY reason it has proliferated is b/c too many people who know better allow it...most often being, themselves, ensnared by some hot-button, irrelevant divisiveness, fueled by incite media.

Your post is completely and utterly invalidated when you look at just how easy the requirements are. For a PVP SPECIFIC GUN. The PvP steps can be completed by a good player in 2 matches, thats nothing to brag about, but it means that almost anyone with fingers can do the quest too. You need a 0.5 k/d or higher to 'beat' that step. 0.5k/d. Do you realise how trivial that is? What next PvE gamers are finding it too hard to do a nightfall so we make the next world quest 10 story missions? Odin, buddy, sometimes you have relavent things to say and your opinion is your own, but quit spreading hate on a game you CLEARLY keep yourself up about at night. You buy all the games, all the dlc, cant stay away from the forums for 10 minutes, but claim you hate it and always have somthing to say about 'incompetent bungie' or 'toxic gamers'. Its honestly laughable, like genuinely delusional, you just cant help yourself.

  • PvP players are “toxic” to the pve community because when something requires just a little effort they cry like babies “why should I play pvp for a pvp gun waaaah” why play the game if not to acquire bad ass loot to shit on other players with? I wouldn’t play this game as much as I do if it didn’t have pvp. What’s the point of running an easy ass raid 100s of times?

  • Only problem with a that self-serving little rant. Just look all the posts crying about conditions in the Crucible and how everything needs a nerf. Crucible players....in fact PVP players in any FPS....are the whiniest gamers. No scratch that...the whiniest PEOPLE...I've ever had the misfortune of running accros. PVE players seldom complain. They are only complaining now because Bungie has let the Crucible deteriorate to the point where it is one of the most laughably bad PVP experiences in gaming right now. Shit, Black Ops 4 is a better experience than this....and the Crucible doesn't even deserve to clean up after games like Overwatch and Titanfall 2. They're complaining because they are sick and tired of Bungie neglecting the PVE community to attend to the whines and complaints of PVP players.

  • You mean like how for almost 5 years PvP gamers have cried like babies to nerf everything in this game mostly in D1 and succeeded with Bungie's nerf happy team?
See how that works?
• I have never ask for one single nerf in the 4 years of playing both D1 and D2. I played PvP but I didn't care what others were using because I thought to myself either get better or find what works for me. I mainly played for fun unlike a lot of gamers that take PvP way too serious.

  • PvP players are competitive by nature for the most part. You are literally getting mad at people for being competitive who are getting mad at others for not being competitive. This is a lose-lose argument. You cannot change people's natures. There's nothing wrong with PvP players liking the quest. There's nothing wrong with PvE players disliking the quest. Some people are upset with it, some aren't. I've seen you do this on multiple posts, where you come in as the "voice of reason," but, in reality, you're the same as the people you complain about. You're just the other side of the coin.

  • Being competitive doesn't require that someone be a d!ck to people or being a generally shitty person. A point that "sportsmanship"...and participation in sports in general...teaches. Being competitive also involves. 1. Winning with dignity. So that you don't wash people's faces in their failure on that particular day. (Do that in a baseball game, and you'll likely get a fastball thrown at your head in the next at-bat). 2. Losing with grace. So that you accept that you came up short that day...and don't go looking for something to blame trying to soothe your hurt feelings. 3. KNOWING when to turn the competitive drive OFF. So that you bring it out when it's "Go Time" on the field during games.....or during practice sessions when you're working to get better. So you aren't showing your ass to people in situations like this one. You are right about one thing....you can't change other people's natures. If they haven't learned how to be a decent human being....odds are you can't teach them at this stage...and is sure as hell isn't my responsibility to do so. But just because someone was never taught to not take a shit in my front yard, doesn't mean I need to tolerate them doing it. So its thoroughly appropriate to deliver the sort of swift kick in the ass that Odin did. There is nothing wrong with PVE players disliking this quest....especially given the broken nature of the Crucible...and Bungie's utter unwillingness to learn the rules of good RPG game design. What IS wrong is little punk-ass PvP players hypocritically attacking them for doing the verything that half the forum posts on the Crucible do every day. COMPLAIN.
